As a dog groomer, one of the most rewarding experiences is connecting with a dog who struggles with severe anxiety. Every dog is different, and while some bounce into the salon with wagging tails, others carry the weight of fear, past trauma, or unfamiliarity. These are the dogs like Lucy here that remind me why I do what I do. I first met Lucy and her lovely owner back in June and today we had the breakthrough I never thought was possible and I am so unbelievably proud of her.

Moments like this are why I love my job. It's not just about making dogs look great, it's about helping them feel safe and loved and building their trust is a true honour.

To anyone with an anxious dog, know that progress is possible with time, patience, and a little love. And to all the dogs I’ve had the privilege of working with thank you for letting me be part of your journey. You teach me something new during every visit 🐾❤️

10 month old Afghan Hound Stevie in for her first experience at the Groomers and she was absolutely fabulous.

She did lots of singing so we popped some Christmas music on and I joined in 😂🎶

All of my full groom appointments before Christmas have now gone with the exception of a couple of dates where I may be able to accommodate a small dog. I am also able to fit in a small amount of wash & blows or puppy sessions on the below dates and times.

Monday 16th - 4pm - wash & blow or full groom potentially on a small dog

Thursday 19th - 4pm - wash & blow or full groom potentially on a small dog

Friday 20th - 3pm - wash & blow/puppy sessions

Christmas Groom time for Labrador Ben 😍

This lovely boy is turning Sweet 16 in January and he is absolutely brilliant, he really makes me chuckle and has me wrapped around his paws 😂

We take everything at his pace, it's Bens world, I'm just living in it ☺️😍

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

After being in constant pain for the past 14 months I finally have a date for my shoulder surgery, therefore my last working day is 16th January before I am off for approximately 6 weeks. It's a huge inconvenience but unfortunately I just need to rip the plaster off and get it done 🤞🏻

I am starting to make contact with my customers who will be due around that time to ensure you are all booked in before I go on leave so that by the time I return your dogs will all be due again. I'd hate to leave anyone in limbo and have uncomfortable pooches 😢 it may potentially mean you being booked in sooner than you would usually be but I'd rather this than leave any doggies waiting longer than they should be.

I'm hoping to only have minimal disruption by making a plan early, I am contacting everyone over the next few days but please feel free reach out to me if you have any concerns at all.

For anyone who is going to struggle to get to me before 17th January or for any new enquiries, fear not as I hope to also have a plan B over the next few weeks.
