So we have opened our presents & counted our Christmas tips, some truly thoughtful gifts that will hang on our trees forever, can I please thank all of our lovely customers that gave us such lovely cards, gifts & money (our Christmas money will be used for extra training days)

Just a quick update regarding Sam - a laptop job has been found but Sam also hopes to bring some grooming on his days off, maybe evenings & weekends next year, ill health may have got him but he’s fighting to get back to a few of his dogs (he’s been missing them loads)
It’s just leaves me to say enjoy the holidays (we are bleaching the salon today) & looking forward to working with your gorgeous dogs in 2025 🎄🎅🏻🥂🎉🎁🐶🐾

The first two weeks have been an absolute pleasure getting all your gorgeous dogs groomed just in time for Santa paws, can I start to thank you for our for gifts & cards & tips towards extra training days, it’s hugely appreciated.

So just this week we have kicked off pawsmas, every gorgeous dog that visits in December (up to Xmas eve) will receive a Christmas Bandana of your choice (while stocks last) & also a little Xmas pic n mix bag & a Xmas Photo, we also have our very own little elf Coco ❤️ she’s an old girl but you may see her about some days (if she gets out of her salon bed )
We have the best times getting so many dogs ready for their Xmas but please bare with us for your dogs photos as it’s the busiest time of the year (I will aim on keeping up in the evenings creating these to get them what’s appt) 🐶🐾

So today I missed the Olney Remembrance parade but still gave my respects at 11am …..today was a learning day for myself with 3 different breeds in the morning & 2 poodles in the afternoon, connected with passionate dog groomers from near & a far, doesn’t matter how many qualifications a dog groomer holds we always can learn new methods, products & really focus on continuous education within the industry, it’s been a fantastic day 🥰🐶🐾

Lest we forget
On this Remembrance Sunday, we pause to honour not only the brave men & women who served but also the animals who stood alongside them. Among them were the loyal war dogs, horses, messenger pigeons & other animals who gave their all in service. Their unwavering courage, loyalty, & sacrifice remain a poignant reminder of the bond between humans & animals in times of hardship.
Let us honour their memory & vow never to forget their sacrifices 🌹🐶🐾 🌹

Happy 5th Birthday to Olney Dog Grooming 🐶🐾🥳🎉 5 years ago today I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. Unsure where it would take me or if it would even work, but I persevered anyway! 👊 From starting off in my tiny barn, which we had to do lots of building work to make it my new daily home for the foreseeable. 👷‍♂️ To Sam deciding to join me and realising that this barn wasn’t big enough for both of us.👨‍🦰👱‍♀️ We tried pods, we tried building a seperate shed just to realise that actually we need to take a big step. 🤔 Through lots of hard work, late nights, early mornings, sweat, blood (and HRT!) I manged to afford a full size salon that can be enjoyed by both of us and our customers alike.🏩 It truly felt like a dream come true walking into my new salon and I couldn’t quite believe that I had made it to this point.😯 Now 5 years on, sat with my lovely partner in Cyprus, I will be raising a glass to my hard work, my business and most of all, every single one of you for making all of this possible. 🍷 #olneydoggrooming #ukdoggroomers #qualifieddoggroomer #olneybusiness #lovedogs #businessbirthday #businessgrowth
