Hi everyone,

The time has come to let you all know that my time treating all your lovely horses is coming to an end very soon🥲

My last week of treatments will be the week beginning 13th May‼️ so this is just a little warning for everyone who wants to get booked in before then to drop me a message🐴

It has been a pleasure over the past two years, but it is time for me to take the next step in my career and go on a little adventure.. only so I can come back bigger and better for you all!🤩 so keep your eyes peeled for what’s next👀

Well done to Amy McLaughlin and Ron on being part of the winning Open team and representing Omagh Academy at the latest schools show held at Castle Irvine, Necarne. This leaves this fabulous pair qualified for the finals at Balmoral show🤩

Ron received a full physiotherapy treatment a couple of weeks ago, where he was relieved of some painful niggles, and it clearly has paid off! Allowing him to perform to his best🥰

Pringles is a regular client, religiously receiving a full treatment a few days before each big competition, and look how it pays off! Winner of the 128 6/7 year old Dublin Qualifier🥇🥇

Pringles treatment usually consists of massage, stretches and H-Wave. Massage encourages relaxation of tight muscles, improving circulation and aiding in increased stride length and freer movement throughout the body.

🌟DECEMBER/JANUARY LEAVE🌟

This is a quick message to let everyone know I will be taking some time off over December and January to fulfil some much awaited travel plans✈️ my last working day will be Friday 9th December and I will return to work on Monday 23rd January.

🌟ONE YEAR IN BUSINESS🌟

Wow, what can I say, one year! And one hectic year at that! Thank you to all of my amazing clients throughout the past year who have kept me so busy, my little business has exceeded all my expectations!❤️

The first horse I treated exactly a year ago today was Poppy, or better known as Templepatrick Welcome Limerick… who we all know couldn’t have had a better year with her rider Niamh McEvoy! Working with this mare all year has been a pleasure and to see this combination finish the season by winning the 3* 155 GP and jumping in the senior nations cup team was sensational! What a first horse to have treated hey😅🥇🤩

Between now and then I have treated many more amazing horses and ponies who have all reached massive goals, so thank you to you all☺️

🌟Niamh McEvoy and Templepatrick Welcome Limmerick do it again🏅🌟

Regular routine treatments has ensured Poppy is in top form throughout the season including the Europeans and the Premiere Series🤩

🏆Young Tyrone rider Niamh Mc Evoy jumped to the top of the leaderboard in the Coolmore/Showjumping Ireland Premier Series today (23rd July) as she claimed victory in the penultimate round at Tattersalls Ward Union Show. Riding the Robin Bingham owned Templepatrick Welcome Limmerick, the 18-year-old young rider lodged a double clear in 47.45 seconds and as a result took home the winner’s share of the €20,000 on offer.

🐴Templepatrick Welcome Limmerick is a 12-year-old mare is by Limerick and out of the Lux Z sired dam, Go Lucky.

This is the third time that the combination have featured in the line-up of this prestigious league for having claimed third place in Barnadown and fourth in the opening round in Portmore. It has been a great season for the combination as they also claimed the honours in the CSI2* Grand Prix in Mullingar International and before this in Balmoral CSI2*. She recently returned from the European Championships where she formed part of the Junior team that secured Bronze.

In what was a very exciting class with 37 combinations taking on the Tom Holden designed course, five booked their place in the second round and just two double clears were delivered. Out of the top six finishers, the top three placings were filled by young riders.

The second double clear was delivered by Lee Carey and Luxity when they came home in a time of 52.77. Owned by Niall Carey, the nine-year-old gelding was bred by John Mulvey and is owned by Niall Carey. He is by O.B.O.S Quality 004 and is out of the Lux Z sired dam Tullibards Lux Sensational. This combination recently booked their place to the 1.35/1.40m young riders class in the Dublin Horse Show in Ard Chuain when finishing in second place.

Also returning from a successful European Championships, Jason Foley delivered a super performance on home soil, as he took third place. Riding Tara Coffey’s Cnoc Rua Chinook, he beat the time when clocking 46.86, but his hopes of a win were dashed when he had one on the floor. It has been a very good month for Foley as he took the win in the open young riders competition at the Europeans. Prior to going away this combination claimed victory in the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix in Flavours of Fingal. Owned and bred by Tara Coffey, the nine-year-old gelding is by Pacino and is out of the Ramiro B sired dam, Cnoc Rua Lucy.

The Army Equitation school filled the next two places in the line-up. Claiming fourth place was Lt James Whyte when he finished on eight falls with Hawthorn Hill in a time of 49.20. Bred by Jerry Quinn, ten-year-old mare is by Cardento and out of the Limmerick sired dam, Tummery Limelight.

Comt. Geoff Curran also had two on the ground with Kilrue, albeit in a slower time of 54.16 for eventual fifth place. Owned by the Minister of Defence and bred by Stacey Babes, the nine-year-old gelding is by Balou Du Rouet and out of SVS Springball.

Robert Splaine was denied his place in the line-up with Cambridge when he incurred a single time fault in the first round coming home in 91.57. This result meant however he took sixth place in the placings. Owned by TLK Equine Ventures LLC Mike Kovanda and bred by Heinrich Grueppemeier, the 10-year-old German bred gelding is by Cloney and is out of the Stakkato sired dam, Scarlett. This combination recently took second place in the GAIN Alltech Grand Prix in Maryville and took fourth place in the round at Portmore in April.

Hugo receives regular physiotherapy treatments including massage, lateral stretches, forelimb stretches and some other fun exercises alongside his training routine to keep him in tip top shape, which seems to definitely be paying off!🏆

Regular exercises prescribed as part of a tailored physiotherapy treatment are extremely beneficial to reduce muscle tension and soreness which commonly arise during the competing season. Core muscles which support the body are targeted with the use of stretches can make all the difference in the show jumping ring🐴

H-Wave machines produce a rhythmical muscle contraction via an electrical current, as seen here.
