Feeding Signals 🐂🐂🐂
Animals that don’t eat with the main group will eat quicker resulting in more rumen acidosis and poorer feed utilisation. They will also eat slightly less.
Speak to your Fane Valley Feeds Advisor about meeting the basic need of space for your herd.

Water: The Forgotten Nutrient
Water provision and intake are often overlooked. 💦💦
Water constitutes around 87% of milk and is therefore a crucial element in driving milk production.
An adequate supply of clean, fresh water will promote:
· Healthy rumen function
· Higher feed intakes
· Digestion
· Nutrient absorption
Dry matter intakes can be increased by fresh palatable feed, adequate feeding space, access to fresh water and good air flow. All important factors to maximise your margins with finishing beef cattle.
