Eva is now having regular walks to help her build her confidence. At the beginning of the week she was exploring the feild and getting closer to the scarey sheep! Today we followed dogs and people at a distance she felt comfortable with and then she was really happy enjoying playing finding sweets on the grass and ignoring all the people and traffic around her.

Bobby has been helping this week! First he had a play date with Zeus practicing some recall with play as the best reward! Then he was helping Daisey giving her some confidence around dogs, enjoying some calm sniffing together! Nervous dogs can gain a lot of confidence from another dog and Bobby has learnt to understand when they need space, but also is a typical boxer when matched to the right play style!
Our weekly group walks are a great way to introduce dogs together and this is where these friendships began! If you’d like to join us or discuss a 1-1 training session just get in touch!

Happy new year!
We’ve had a lovely break and enjoyed catching up with everyone on our New Year’s Eve group walk!
We will be back to our normal Friday group walks in Caister every Friday starting this week which is £1 donation to join us, so if you would like some doggie and human socialising this year just msg for more information! We will be back booking 1-1 training next week too.

Had a lovely morning yesterday with Apollo and Zeus enjoying their first play date together! Their play styles are so well matched they had so much fun, with a little training in between focusing on recall back to their owners, and play as the best reward! This was a great start to a new friendship 🥰

Today Toby chose to say hello to a group of dogs calmly for the first time without reacting! We have been doing a lot of watching from a distance and he has been improving every week! Today he was a little star! Great end to the year ❤️

Ethel has been enjoying some fun training walks this week and was learning to control her excitement with the help of a friend and storm! Her attention has been growing and her recall is getting so good! She is such a happy girl just a little over excitement and nervous at times but her confidence and impulse control is growing! Luna enjoyed her first 1-1 training today! After joining us on a few group walks she was enjoying new freedom on a longline choosing to come back to her mum when asked. Given a little time she explored a few new things building on her confidence… a very scarey big tractor and a stone lion ! And lots of sweets and new cues to follow she was doing amazing!

Handsome Rodney has been having some 1-1 training each week to help with some resource guarding, and reactivity to dogs when out on his walks! We introduced some games and techniques using toys and treats, and today we had such a lovely walk walking past many dogs and a horse calmly and enjoying watching some at a safe distance before choosing to continue walking with us. His confidence is growing each week! ❤️

A lovely bit of exploring new areas with Toby today! He loved the swan and had a quick Look at the sheep but didn’t think they were as exciting! Sometimes it’s fun to let them lead the walk, and he chose the new route today instead of the Feilds which is where he normally takes me!

We had an amazing group walk yesterday, huge wins for our reactive dogs walking together, some play and recall practice and lots of fun!
Our next group walk is tomorrow in Ormesby at 11 for anyone wishing to join us! And we will be back in Caister for our weekly walk on Friday.

Today Ralf was doing really well enjoying the freedom of a longline but choosing to come back to me without being asked instead of pulling to run further, along with some practiced cues! A lovely explore of the green together!

Benny was loving his play date with Islay this week! It’s beautiful to watch their play bows and pauses between play, pure happiness!! Benny is still looking for a new home possibly with a friend to play with, so please share and help find him a new family who can give him the exercise and fun he needs!

💜Looking for a new home!!! 💜Benny was a star today! He’s loving playing ball instead of watching dogs today, and was walking past cars and mini buses and choosing to look at me for a sweet instead of them! He is learning so quickly and now he is getting easier to walk he’s going to be looking for a new forever home!! He needs someone willing to continue his training which I would support and have the time and energy that a collie needs! He’s amazing at home and loves playing with some dogs so could be introduced to new friends! If you or someone you know may be able to offer Benny a home rather than having to go to kennels please share and contact me for more information!!!
