It’s easy to forget this time of the year holds so many dangers and stress for our pets.
So before the big day, take a moment to ….
🍫 ensure all chocolate is out of reach to dogs. Compounds in cocoa are poisonous!
🍇 move grapes, raisins and sultanas out of the way. They are toxic for dogs and that includes mince pies and Christmas cake.
🍗 warn guests not to give your pets bones from the meat in your festive dinner. They can break and could cause a blockage in the digestive tract.
👩‍⚕️make sure you know your vet’s opening hours and a number for an emergency vet just
In case you need them.
🐶 create a safe space for nervous pets to escape the inevitable noise and change in routine and consider a calming supplement like Stress Less for anxious pooches.

And most of all, get out for a lovely walk!
