Is anyone interested in a competitive training workshop. On October 15th at Haskayne Village Hall (near Halsall/Ormskirk).
I am devastated to say that I have made a sad decision to close my dog training business. Due to several reasons I am finding things a bit difficult. I have one class left and that is it. I would like to thank all my clients for all their lovely comments.
Unfortunately my computer died on me and I lost my list of clients interested in my next dog training course at Halsall on a wednesday at 6pm. If anyone on here had contacted me please can you email me at [email protected]. I am looking at starting one in the next couple of weeks. Only 3 places available on the puppy/beginner course
so proud of Callie getting 3rd place in Novice today at Wigton show. she won a 3 way run off for this place.. She was amazing considering how nervous she is. Love her to bits. would have won if not anticipated recall but who cares she aint ready to win out.
Hoping to start a new puppy/beginner course for 6 weeks mid to end of July. If interested please message me on here or email [email protected]
looking at starting a new puppy/beginner course in July. Anyone interested please contact me at [email protected]
So looking like 2nd July workshop may be a walking to heel / comp or rally heeling. Who is interested please email me at [email protected]
so proud of Callie entering her first ever level 1 scentworkuk trial and only going and winning it. She is amazing, felt so emotional as I have worked so hard to build her confidence. Love her to bits. This is the dog that ran off from me on the beach for 3 and a half hours after I was attacked physically and verbally. I knew she wouldn't go to anyone as so nervous. them someone had seen her so i got Alfie who does mantrailing, gave him scent and asked him to find her. He took me round a lake and found her upto her neck in mud. How she has come out of that is amazing . Just love her to bits xx
After doing a one to one with Scott yesterday I am looking at holding a scent workshop ( towards obedience scent) on Sunday 2nd July at 2pm. It will be for an hour and a half. You do need to have a retrieve of some sort. If not enough interest for this, then I will do a loose lead walking or recall workshop. It will be at Halsall Memorial Hall and Playing fields. Please share locally and let me know your preference Either reply on here or contact me at [email protected]
What a fabulous afternoon doing an Introduction to Obedience workshop at the amazing Pawfect Retreat in Hightown, Liverpool. What a super group of people and dogs. Thank you all for your participation and the wonderful comments at the end. Thanks to Angela Byrne for organising x
If you look on this link it shows the scent at Crufts. My Aero is on at around 9 mins. This is where they need to find the judges scent with 2 decoys. This is advanced but it shows you what the course will be about

Looking at holding a scent workshop on 2nd July at 2 till 4 pm at Halsall War Memorial and Playing Fields . This workshop will require dogs to have some sort of retrieve. We will look for handlers scent and want the dog to return with toy or cloth. Obedience scent has the dog looking for handlers cloth in amongst others blanks or decoys depending on level. This is not a scentworkuk or nosework course. If you require more info then please message me.
absolutely buzzing. doing a few one to one sessions and the changes in the dog have been so amazing using positive techniques. No prong, shock or forced methods just loads of positivity.
So I have decided the next workshop I will do will be a scentwork one. It will only be approx 1hr 30 in total. I can take upto 8 dogs. It will be either at Halsall or burscough . Not sure if date at moment but if you can let me know if you are interested x
I may possibly think of stopping my weekly dog training business after this course as it is so hard to keep my regular venue. I may go down the road of doing small workshops relating to different problems. I feel this may be the better way forward. I would like to keep my competition people but may do that on a monthly basis.
so pleased. working with this reactive rescue dog. Managed to get her within 2 feet of my Flake today and she was so chilled. No instant fix and so glad electric collars are going to be banned as from next year. Just work on your dogs slowly as if they are fear reactive then electric and prong collars will only make them worse.
In a historic moment for animal welfare, we’re welcoming news today that the Government is completely banning the use of remote controlled electric shock collars in England, as of 1 February 2024, following our ten year campaign. To find out more, visit thekennelclub.org.uk/shockcollarsbanned
Unfortunately I have now lost my Tuesday venue at Burscough. Totally understand as haven't had enough people to continue. I have other options of venues or workshops to consider. So just wondering what people prefer, workshops or 6 consecutive sessions for training
