Dear customers,

The past couple weeks I've had quite a few no shows and late arrivals. This is a reminder please be on time for your appointment. If you can't make your appointment, please try and give me atleast 48hrs notice. I will not take in dogs after 10 minutes as this puts me behind. As many of you are aware, I'm very busy and booked up months in advance. If you do not show up or are late for your appointment, I will not be able to fit you back in.
December is now full. I've got some appointments in October and November. Please book in advance if you want appointments as they go very fast.

I'm looking for a dog groomer on a self employed or employed basis. Must hold a level 3 qualification with salon experience. First aid trained but not essential.
Wage dependant on experience.
Big client base with lots of passing trade
Choose your own hours/days. Fully equipped salon with a bath and 2 tables. Just need your own scissors/clippers/blades.

PRICE INCREASE

From Monday 29th January 2024, our prices will be going up by £3 per dog. This is due to the rising cost of equipment and bills. Ive tried to put this off for a while but can't continue to do so. We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding💙

Thank you all for your custom this year! Thank you to everyone who gifted me chocolates, gifts, tips and alcohol (I'll definitely enjoy them on Christmas day😅) I'm forever grateful❤️

I'll be closed between Christmas and New year and will reopen on 4th Jan. I'll be having a good rest and getting ready for 2024!

Some of you may know Kelly has gone off to qualify so is now only with me Monday afternoons and Saturdays for the foreseeable. Please bear with me as I'm now the only groomer so things will be a little slower again. Thank you so much for everyone who has sent donations to me. As you all know I had my haircut today I sent the hair to The Little Princess Trust and all the money raised has gone to Prostate Cancer as my dad is currently undergoing treatment. ❤️

So I'll be cutting my hair on the 26th August for the Little Princess Trust. This charity is a special one, for those who aren't aware, The little princess trust make real hair wigs for little girls and boys who have lost their hair due to cancer and other illnesses. I did this in 2013 and absolutely loved it and the feeling of doing something good. Although it's been a while, I'll always do this in the future. I also hope this inspires someone else to do the same.

Along side donating my hair, I'm also raising money for Prostate cancer UK. In January this year, we found out my dad had it. It was the hardest news we've had as a family. I'm raising money for this charity so people like my dad continue getting the help and support they and their family need.

It's currently 29 degrees. It's too hot to walk a dog. Please look after your dogs. Keep them cool, with access to shade and water. Although the sun and nice weather is lovely, it can have fatal consequences for an animal.

Dear customers,

I would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers old and new for supporting us this last year.
Unfortunately last year we had well over 100 no shows. Please please let me know if you can't make your appointment. Last year was a real struggle.
From now on I need atleast 48hrs notice to cancel an appointment. Anything less than 24hrs, have to pay 50% of the groom. No shows are 100%.
Cut off point for late appointments is 10 minutes. We run on a very tight schedule. If you're later than 10 minutes, you will have to reschedule and pay 50% of the groom.
These need to be payed before you're able to book another appointment with us.
Bank transfers now need to payed before collection or on collection. I haven't got the time or facilities to be chasing up payments. I hope everyone understands this and I hate to have to do this. Unfortunately it's extremely difficult to keep a business going when this happens.

We're back on Wednesday, I can't wait to get back to work and see you all.
