I am Amy O'Toole, a mum of 2, and Biological Sciences graduate. Very experienced with a wide variety of animals and passionate about animal welfare, and being outdoors. I offer dog walking and pet sitting in the local area. I am also experienced with rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, ferrets, mice, hamsters, gerbils, chickens and some reptiles so I can provide drop in care for your other pets whilst y

Thank you all so much for the lovely messages, cards and gifts this Christmas. I'm always a bit overwhelmed by everyone's generosity - but although it's a bit of a cliché, it really is the kind words that mean the most.

I'm off tomorrow and Boxing Day, back on Friday.

Forgot to take many photos today but here's a short video of some lead walking. Using objects in the environment is a great way to improve your dogs focus and engagement and make training a little more fun. It can be small things like balancing on a log, putting paws up on a wall, jumping over or going around an obstacle or just searching for scattered treats around the base of a tree - mixing up your training helps make it more interesting, and your dog will be more likely to think you are worth paying attention to.

Think I was always destined to work with animals somehow 😉

Seriously puppy tails are just the cutest thing ever 😆

Don't usually appreciate cold callers but these ones have got me well trained 🤦‍♀️ Shows the power of food as a reinforcer of behaviour though.

6am walk to let this dude have a leg stretch before it's too hot 🙂
