I am Amy O'Toole, a mum of 2, and Biological Sciences graduate. Very experienced with a wide variety of animals and passionate about animal welfare, and being outdoors. I offer dog walking and pet sitting in the local area. Last weekend walk done for a little while 🙂

I'm usually happy to work weekends (& to be honest it rarely feels much like work anyway 🤷) but I've only had 1 day completely off since mid June, so whilst I'm still around and working in the week
I am hopefully switching off a bit for the next couple of weekends (probably still doing lots of walking though 🙈🤣)

No words really for what happened in Southport today.

We saw some of the ambulances flying through Halsall earlier and just feel absolutely devastated for all of the children, families, staff and emergency services involved. 💔

None of us ever truly know what's round the corner.

Start of summer holidays and tons of rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals to look after over the next few weeks.

I love all the dogs, but it makes a nice change to have other animals sometimes too 🙂🐇🐥

Summer holidays are rapidly approaching (or already here for some of you lucky lot!) - despite the rain 🙄

Got lots of rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs etc to look after over the next month or so. If anyone still needs to book cat or small animal visits please get in touch - although there are some weekends I won't be available.

Anyone with term time only dog walks or who need to cancel or swap days around due to holidays please confirm dates too if you haven't already.

Routine goes absolutely out of the window during school holidays so please bear with me, thanks 🙏🩵

Forgot to take many photos today but here's a short video of some lead walking. Using objects in the environment is a great way to improve your dogs focus and engagement and make training a little more fun. It can be small things like balancing on a log, putting paws up on a wall, jumping over or going around an obstacle or just searching for scattered treats around the base of a tree - mixing up your training helps make it more interesting, and your dog will be more likely to think you are worth paying attention to.

Think I was always destined to work with animals somehow 😉

Seriously puppy tails are just the cutest thing ever 😆

When the 5 month old puppy is as big as an adult Labrador 🙈😂

Might not do anything fast but she will still give some tricks a go 🙈 I'm sure she's thinking like seriously what is the point, just give me the turkey 🤣
