Mere Brow Gundogs offer one-to-one and group tuition for gundogs of all levels. Although we specialise in gundog training, we undertake to train all breeds in obedience. Our aim is to train successful working dogs and their owners whilst providing a happy and positive training experience for handlers and dogs.

Than you to the lovely Shannon at Shannon's shampooche's for Jäger’s bath and de shed this morning.
Jäger has never been left with anyone before and those that know us will have known it was a big thing to leave him with someone else.
But I know he’s in safe hands with Shannon and I don’t need to worry whilst he’s in her care.
I really can’t recommend highly enough!

He’s now more handsome than ever and smells lovely - for now 🥴🤣🥴🤣

I’ve decided to bring the position box in to Arthur’s training. He was a poorly pup last week and had a trip to the vets, so training has been easy this week. First of all, we asked for him to just go near the box. Doesn’t matter if he’s in it or what part of him is near it, just when he goes near it he hears a ‘click’ and gets a reward. In this case we’re using sprats. We’ve moved on from that now and are asking him to go IN the box. Doesn’t need to be right in, it may be that his nose touches the edge, but again he hears the ‘click’ and gets his reward. I love Working on positions. Especially when they’re young pups. It will never cease to amaze me how bright, clever and talented these malinois are! I’m so lucky Mr MBG lets me work with Arthur after my two have gone over to the police, as when I’m having a good day I can still work with this amazing breed!

Never before has someone been to see Nala and fallen in love! THIS is what you call love at first sight 😍😍 made me feel a little more at ease and I know she’s going where she’s going to be loved just as much as we love her. Life gets you down at times and life gets tough. Illness is a bastard but I will always do right by my animals. look after our girl. 💓💓

What happens with your dogs when they come to us for training?? 🤔 a lot of dog owners worry about leaving their dogs with us, or anyone else, and wonder how they’ll be. Most pet owners think of their dogs as ‘fur babies’ or ‘their children’ which is not what they are! We cannot stress enough that they are dogs!! They are not children, fur babies, or anything else that people think their dogs are in this modern world! But what I’d like to assure you is that yes! Your dog is happy, your dog is loved! Your dog gets the mental stimulation he needs and most of all your dog gets plenty of love and cuddles!
