Our thoughts are with the family at this tragic time 🐾💔

The grooming industry is feeling the loss of one of their own tonight. Louise Hunt was a fellow dog groomer and was killed alongside her mum and sister last night 😢

Our thoughts are with the rest of the family at this extremely sad time.
May you all rest in peace ###

Always great advice for our Tailwaggers 🐾💜

It’s been reading 24c here where I am today. So it was a walk early morning then another this evening. I don’t have high risk dogs, but still at this temperature it is a risk. I love my dogs dearly so I won’t be putting them at risk.

WOW!!
I still can’t quite believe it. Little old me has been awarded Speaker of the Year 2023!
I have to admit I was genuinely shocked, which left me at a loss for words last night. (Not an ideal reaction for accepting and award for Speaker 🫣)
Now that I have had a while to get my head around it, I would like to say a few words (I’ll keep it short, hopefully)
Thank you Colin Taylor for another successful World Grooming Conference and the Liz Paul Industry Awards.
It goes (almost) without saying, that without the support of everyone who voted for me and to you all who have attended and supported my seminars, without you I would not have been awarded this huge achievement, so thank you 💖
To have been in this category with the absolute top industry speakers, Julie Harris, Costin Stoica, Bill Betts and Pina Pinkusavich, certainly makes this achievement that much more special.
Big thanks to all who have offered me the opportunities to follow this passion of sharing knowledge and experience with fellow groomers, Laura Redstone, Mike Smith, Simpsons Grooming Supplies, to name a few
I am fortunate to have the best encouragement from friends and thank you to Louisa Tandy for reining me in, when needed, and keeping me sane (ensuring I am always topped up to the correct level with cocktails 🍹)

To the love of my life, Darran, I could never have gained the confidence to do this and without you I would not have had the belief in myself to even try. You go far beyond what anyone will ever know and I never forget just how much you do. I love you ❤️
