It's a HUGE weekend incoming for

We're kicking off April in style with three consecutive shows.

Join me on Friday night as I return to The George Ossett from 8pm. I really enjoyed it here last time I played and I'll hopefully see plenty of you again to start the weekend with a bang.

Get your groove on with me at The Pack Horse Inn, Royston this Saturday, again from 8pm onwards It's always a pleasure to play here and I'm really glad to be back. Lets make it a big one.

We finish the music marathon on Sunday with a brand new venue. Come and say hi as I take to the stage at The Hop Monkey Music Bar at Dean Clough in Halifax for the first time starting at 5pm. I'm really excited to experience another new setting and it's sure to be a fantastic way to round off the weekend.

As ever, thank you so much to all venues for the incredible support. I can't wait to get the ball rolling. Let me know if you'll be coming to any of the gigs this weekend in the comments below. It'll be great to see as many of you as possible.

In relation to recent comments made about the singers participating in this years competition, Stars In Our Bars, the organisers wish to confirm that each contestant has been asked to verify that no financial remuneration has been received for any performance, past or present.

There are some singers within the competition who, for the love of singing, may participate in either self promotion via online platforms, sing publicly at charity events, or as part of either a theatre group or amateur dramatics society.

Similarly, following recent comments made, further investigations via social media were conducted. We can confirm that there was no evidence to suggest that any of the singers involved in the competition have been paid for any performance outside of the competition.

As the semi-final is being held on Saturday, 23rd March, we would ask that any further comments surrounding the ‘professionalism’ of any of the singers desists.

Competitors will undoubtedly be nervous entering the latter stages of the competition, and therefore such comments are not helpful, particularly when the standard of singers within the competition is of such a high standard.

Should any person have corroborating evidence that proves any of the contestants have been paid, either on a professional, or semi-professional basis, could we kindly ask that you contact the organiser directly, attaching any supporting evidence you may possess, rather than posting unfounded comments via social media and potentially attempt to bring the competition into disrepute.

Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and we look forward to welcoming you to the semi-final on Saturday, 23rd March from 8pm.
