Two weeks to go........... who's excited?!
There's so much to see and do and so little time...... however, one thing you can't miss is the opportunity to chat with, and watch the demos of, a selection of The Pet Gundog Accredited Instructors - it's going to be a brilliant weekend! 😁

Are you heading to CLA Gamefair this year?

If so come and Join L*z Graham and some of the accredited pet gundog instructors at the Working Dog Ring for a demonstration of the training approach that started the pet gundog ‘movement’ back in 2010 with the publication of her first book The Pet Gundog.

There are 22 accredited pet gundog Instructors based around the UK and, as well as seeing them in the demonstrations at 11.30am each day, you’ll find some instructors, along with L*z, at stand E1180 where you can find out more about the pet gundog’s common-sense approach to training, where to train, and be able chat to the instructors.

L*z will be taking questions and demonstrating the L*z Graham Retrieving Roll, an innovative piece of equipment designed to motivate and encourage an enthusiastic retrieve, at 2.30pm each day on stand E1180 located beside the Working Dog Ring.

Visit the team at The Game Fair E1108 🙌🏻

I’ve worked with people who’ve told me their dog is a free spirit, free-willed and independent, normally after the dog has just done something unacceptable, and it is their way of getting out of stepping up to the responsibility of sharing their home with an opportunistic social predator.

What they don’t realise, is that by setting boundaries, applying some rules, and a bit of discipline, they are demonstrating good leadership qualities, and in doing so, are allowing their dogs to relax and be 'just a dog’.

She’s been a challenge but with the dedication of her family & lots of hard work she is showing what a superstar she really is 🌟

I have had a really great day training today, with wonderful dogs and wonderful people who are all working hard and seeing their hard work pay off 🤩
However, a special mention has to go to Simon and his dog Jeff.... Although still young, Jeff is a big, handsome Fox Red Lab who recently decided he knew what life was all about and started to try and push the boundaries. In response to this, Simon has done two keys things... firstly, he has been consistent & insistent with his criteria and expectations of Jeff, both at home and out and about, and secondly they are having fun together and have the most wonderful bond 🥰 I am very proud of both of them and I really cannot wait to watch Jeff develop in his training and look forward to seeing this pair every week 🌟
