I am 47 years old and have worked as a professional pet sitter for over 15 years as my own business, but have house sat for people for over 25 years within my local equine community. Following a National Diploma in Horse Studies at Walford College of Agriculture Baschurch Shrewsbury, I continued on to achieve a BSc Honours Degree in Equine Science at the University of Wales Aberystwyth. Growing up
in a rural location on a small holding I have worked with, cared for and been involved with a wide variety of animals all of my life. On completion of my degree I accepted a job working at Westpoint Stud, where I handled youngsters and broke in horses during the winter months. Work included care and handling of stallions, plus sole charge of the stud if my employer was on holiday. Prior to setting up A3 House & Pet Sitting I was in charge of a private yard with 18 horses, gelderlanders and shires. My work there included breaking in, and the riding and driving of gelderlanders. Breaking shires for driving, and driving of shires for use on the farm. Other animals on the farm included; 4 dogs, 3 cats, geese, chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, pigs & sheep. I cared for these animals if my employer was absent, whether out for the day or away on holiday. My hobbies include walking, photography and meeting new people. Animals I regularly care for include: horses, donkeys, pigs, cows, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, rabbits, poultry, parrots, fish and hamsters and I welcome meeting new pets. I maintain a high standard of work and responsibility which is essential to keeping a happy client/house sitter relationship. I am reliable, flexible and enjoy providing a professional and personalised service. Why not email me through my website to discuss your requirements.
