I’m back! 👋🏼

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last year. It’s been a bit of a strange time for everyone and I’ve personally struggled as I know a lot of people have.

As I’ve explained briefly on here before I suffer with anxiety and with all the strange things going on it’s taken a bit of time for me to deal with things. But I’m feeling stronger again now and ready to do more!

Good morning horses 🐴👋🏼

Some shocked faces when I arrived earlier than usual at Radfords this morning.

I’m giving my self a kick up the back side to try harder with my social media pages and pushing my business forward! So please show me some support and hopefully this will encourage me to keep going with it! I need to not let my lack of self belief and self confidence stop me in my tracks!

I’m opening my diary up again now and getting a bit more back to normal, so if you need a hand with anything then please don’t hesitate to message me and I’ll see what I can do to help!

From fluffy cob like legs to tidy show horse legs!

Prince is currently having his pre season makeover to get us ready to head to a show in a few weeks time.

I love spending the time tidying him up after his little winter holiday and hacking and seeing the transformation!

I will hopefully be posting some more before and after photos of our makeover session soon, I just need to remember to take the pictures which isn’t my strong point!

Whoever can guess the weight or guesses the closest of our lovely model Stan, will win a free weigh for yours and a friends horse.

Terms and conditions
You must follow all three steps for your entry to be valid. You are to bring the horse to me at Startlewood feeds on one of the weigh days held there (date tbc) for your free weigh or there will be a fuel charge of 30pence per mile if I come to you.

We are looking into setting up some ‘weighday saturdays’ to be held at Startlewood Feeds.

These will be held one Saturday a month so you can come to us and get your horse weighed and at the same time take advantage of the beautiful hacking we have right on the door step and pop in store and stock up on feed.

There are many benefits to weighing your horse and also to regular weighings so that you can track your horses weight and ensure they are maintaining a healthy weight.

Dates are just being confirmed if you’re interested and have any preferences please let us know!

Dogs are welcome too as it’s just as important to know their weight for worming and general health. 🐶

🌟🌟Also keep your eyes peeled on Sunday evening at 7pm as we have a competition launching! 🌟🌟

First costumers to use the weigh bridge!

These included a Clydesdale brood mare and her 6 month old foal and a miniature Shetland and a range of different size riding horses!

It was the first time for all of them to step on the weigh bridge and they all handled it very well. Some were a little bit more hesitant than others but with a little time and encouragement they went on.
