On 10th June it becomes compulsory in England for all cats to be microchipped by law... this is only 11 days away!

Being a registered PetLog Implanter, I can come to your home to ensure that your cat is microchipped. I can implant the microchip and register this with the UKs largest pet database or , if your cat is already microchipped, I scan your cat for you to give you peace of mind that the chip is still effective.

‼️ CAT MICROCHIPPING ‼️

As of 10 June 2024, it will be compulsory for all cats to be microchipped by the age of 20 weeks old. There is no minimum age for microchips to be administered.

As I am fully qualified in microchip implanting, I will be offering microchipping both in your home or in my salon at £10 per microchip. Discounts will be given for litters, or for 2 or more cats.

Your microchip details will be stored on the PetLog Database, which are the UK’s largest pet database.

If you ever need advice on the best technique for brushing, please let me know.
Line brushing is the best way to ensure matts don’t start in the coat. Surface brushing doesn’t get to the root of the matt, ie the skin.
This resulting in clipping off the fur 👇

Due to an increasing number of new client no-shows, I will now be starting to take a 50% deposit for all new bookings. The appointment will not be confirmed to you until the deposit is paid.

As a small business I simply cannot afford to lose money in the volume that I currently am with no-shows. All it takes is a text message, and I would rearrange. A no-show is rude, and I can’t carry the can with this anymore.

With dog grooming still unregulated, it’s so easy for your dog to end up with an untrained, inexperienced dog groomer that has decided to ‘just give it a go’. That’s not to say that ALL unqualified groomers are bad at their job.. a lot of ‘old school’ groomers who started up years back have worked so hard in building up their experience through hands on grooming.
But, ideally, you really should go with a fully qualified dog groomer.
Research your groomer before you place your dog in their care… meet them, talk to them, look at reviews, ask to see their certification.
Your dog deserves that at the very least.

Such a good idea for a muzzle 🥰

We have avoided posting photos of Lily in her muzzle, maybe thinking if we didn't post a picture it wasn't true? Who knows? Lily however is very comfortable in her muzzle. She doesn't mind putting it on, she doesn't attempt to take it off, she walks in it just fine and travels in it happily in a vehicle.

This muzzle was made specifically to Lily's measurements. While many people think about pant room they don't think about yawn room (which is so much bigger). One of a dogs coping mechanisms in times of stress (for example the vet) is to yawn. Imagine needing to yawn and being limited by a muzzle, wouldn't be a great feeling.

We purchased the muzzle from Pawfect Fit Dog Muzzles (Their page is https://www.facebook.com/groups/924057441846435) and will be buying another one shortly as a spare.
