We welcomed Nellie back for a short visit. We walked along the river Wharfe, had a group walk with regulars 🐶 & then a nap on the sofa with Lola 🥰

The weather might have been treacherous today but we got some amazing pictures. Mabel the border collie & Rocky the Jack Russell had loads of fun on our very quiet morning walk, not many people at the Chevin this morning 🤣💨🐶🐾

We had the OG Bolt the black Labrador stay for 2 weeks. Bolt is the nicest natured dog you’ll ever meet, he’s the reason why I wanted to become a licensed boarder so I could meet more “Bolt’s” 🥰 He had a fantastic time & probably needed a rest once he got home. Ball
mad, I lost count of the amount of balls that he gave up looking for 🫣🤣

Another fun session at Pool Dog Park. Six doggies today, a mixture of young & old. This secure field is ideal for the oldies to have a sniff & stroll, whilst the young energetic ones can be occupied with a variety of toys to throw & play with (all provided) and some obstacles for agility. Quinn, Brooke & Eva are quite good at climbing & jumping on the obstacles, whilst Oscar & Mabel were more interested in chasing balls & good old Buster had his own ball to chew & carry around at his own pace 🥰

Well…. What can I say about Dougie? I have been told by my daughter to write a very nice update about Dougie’s stay 🤣 She fell head over heels in love with him. He was so excited to see her come home from work & cried when she left for work, she gave him her undivided attention, with soooo many cuddles 🥰

Although I walked Dougie ( I made the dreadful mistake of walking him in the rain, I don’t think he forgave me for that 🤣), fed Dougie, gave Dougie treats & cuddles too, he only had eyes for Faith Bradley, I was just the spare human to him 🫣🤣 We hope to see him again soon 🐾🐶

It was our first time using Pool Dog Park. Wow what a fantastic time we had. As well as my boarding doggies, I also had a few local dogs join us today. It was wild 🤪 6 dogs & a child + a sprinkler & a paddling pool = FUN 🤩 We’ll definitely be booking again

What a fantastic week we’ve had with Holly. She’s well and truly part of the family 🥰 She’s had some fantastic walks & lots of playtime. To say she’s a picky eater, she has been that busy, she’s eaten every last biscuit & finishing off the days with a lovely pigs ears. We’ll be sad to see her go but no doubt we’ll see her again soon 🐾🐶

Bailey the border collie came for an overnight trial & will be coming back for her holidays. Wow, what a clever dog she is, her repertoire of skills & commands is impressive 🤩🐾🐶

I am quickly becoming a fan of the sight hounds, they’re so relaxed in the home & easy going. We had Rebel the ex racing grey hound come to visit. He made himself at home & sprawled out on the floor to keep cool. Rebel’s not booked in for overnight boarding but ad hoc daycare so his pawrents 🐾 can spend the occasional day out without having to rush back for him. We eased him in with a 3 hour visit. Well done Rebel for being super relaxed 😎

We have had such a great week with Rufus. He’s been such a pleasure to look after, so laid back & easy going, he’s horizontal most of the time 🤣 I’ll certainly miss him even though he was a silent food thief

We swapped huge Archie the German Shepherd for puppy Hamish the tiny West highland terrier. He did incredibly well with his trial overnight stay, he’s so resilient & took everything new into his stride. Looking forward to his holiday with us 🐾🐶

Oscar the cockapoo came for a 10 day holiday with us. He has been my best friend for the whole time but certainly happy to see his dog mum & dad again 😍 We have been here, there & everywhere walking, two visits to pets at home to stock up on Lily’s Kitchen treats, special privileges riding shot gun which is normally only reserved for Lola & then this morning rolled in poo & now that’s a total of three dogs who have done the dirty on the day they’re due to go home so a quick bath this morning. We all will miss Oscar but luckily my little pal is back in August 🥰🐾

Holly the fox red Labrador came to stay again. We went on lots of outdoor adventures, she lost numerous balls but we also gained balls she found so just about broke even 🤣🤣

We have Oscar staying for his holidays. We’ve had a very fun filled busy day, a walk to the river in the morning, a lead walk at gallows hill nature reserve & visited woof & tumble secure dog field. Now time for a duck tender strip & a cuddle on the sofa 🐾🐶

Nellie finished her weeks holiday with us today. She enjoyed a week of adventurous walks in all the seasons weather, wind, rain, cold, hot & sunny 😂 She’s taken a liking to whitefish & chicken twist & liver sausages as a evening treat. We loved having her stay for longer this time & looking forward to seeing her again 🥰🐾🐶

We had Rocky the Frenchie/Pug X stay for his overnight trial & looking forward to having him stay longer. He’s a character, funny & slightly mischievous but I absolutely loved having him stay. Myself, Lola & Rocky had lots of cuddles together 🥰🐾
