Acrecliffe is a family run Equestrian Centre set in 30 acres on the outskirts of Otley, West Yorkshire. Established in 1964, we have developed to offer a range of facilities from the new rider to the serious competitor.

Today has been a sad one. We sadly lost an acrecliffe legend in the early hours. Our Galaway Blue (Blue Bear) arrived here in 1999 purchased by Bruce Everall. He passed away peacefully in the early hours this morning at the age of 30 years. Blue taught more children and adults to ride, jump, lunge and pass exams than any horse I know. He gave his best to the end in his checky way. He enjoyed life and his departure has left a hugh whole in our lifes. Rest in peace little man and enjoy causing trouble over the rainbow Bridge x we would love to see your pictures and memories with Blue..

Just completed our 1st BHS stage 4 care and lunge sucessfully today. Thank you everyone that has helped and supported. Looking forward to more stage 4 assessments next year 😀

Yesterday the outstanding combination of Anne and Sapphire has drawn to a close. Sapphire will retire from competition life. After countless wins a title's the pair with a combined age of 110years are to bow down from the competition world. Anne will continue to compete so watch this space...
