Unfortunately Alabama Rot has been discovered in Dorset - Dorchester. And very sadly two dogs have recently died of this awful disease. It’s quite rare and seems to be present in wet, boggy walking areas.

I always wash the dogs paws, legs, undercarriage and face after their walk. There’s not much you can do to prevent your dog from catching it (unless you only stick to road walks) but at least by cleaning your dogs after their walk, you’ve done all you possibly can.

**We have some VERY VERY exciting news!!**
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that from the 1st April we will be taking over the amazing Manor Equestrian Centre in Ower.
The Flutterby Fund Charity is growing bigger and requires a larger venue with more facilities to fund more children. Along with our collaboration with No Stress Dressage UK, we have had the amazing opportunity to expand and take over these wonderful premises.
This is a huge positive step for us giving us the opportunity to offer extra services generating more income for the charity. We will be offering not only our riding school service and equine therapy, but a full livery service, a venue for No Stress Shows and our two in-house coaches Jackie Gallagher Equine Coach and Tanya Guy to offer regular clinics and training and some individual indoor arena hires.
We are overwhelmed to have this amazing opportunity and are looking forward to a fantastic future with great positive energy and vibes, at a super yard with wonderful facilities 🙂 🙂 ###x

Just had to share this - exert from an email received today - --- makes it all so worthwhile :-)

Just a little email to say thank you for providing a lovely field for my dogs to enjoy. I found you shortly after adopting Hope and Gracie in 2022 from Dogs Trust Salisbury and we've loved visiting ever since.
Wanted to share with you some photos of the dogs having a great time in the field as I'm sure you haven't been able to appreciate the happiness it brings so many dogs when they're there.
Many thanks for everything and I wish you all the best for your future after the 17th January.

It is with regret that I announce LETS Go Manor will be closing down from Jan 17th 2024. For events booked after this date, please consult with your event organiser before you do anything else.
As many people are aware. we have been consulting with the local licensing authority over the past 2 years but despite the history of dog activities on site, we are unable to continue in the current format.
We are grateful for all the suggestions and support offered to us but rest assured every possible angle has been explored. We respect the decisions made but sadly the decision is final.
We remain eternally grateful for being afforded the opportunity to turn a dream into a reality - it has been hard work, often very trying but ultimately we are extremely proud of all we have achieved - and of those that have shared the journey with us - Thank you all so very, very, much! ❤️
The vision of an affordable, safe venue where Canine partnerships could develop, was made possible with the invaluable help and support of Edit Ratkai of Activity 4 Paws to whom I will always be grateful. Please continue to support her in new pastures, twice Olympia Champion and representing Great Britain once again in 2024 - Good Luck Edit Ratkai!
Whilst I will not seek to renew the lease, this is an opportunity for new beginnings and potential new locations are already being viewed. That said, we welcome suggestions of any indoor arenas that may be suitable going forwards. Wellow Agility club have been onsite for nearly 30 years and are consistently in the Agility Club Premier League so I am certain will continue this at a new venue. Without Wellow Agility LETS Go Manor could not have happened - Thank you for all the selfless hard work and support you have given us - you are now our priority and I'm sure will continue to thrive in a new location.
We have had so many successes not least the Dogs Trust fund raising - to date over £13k has been raised - incredible when you consider most items are just £2-3!! Please see separate posts for times when the container is open for more bargains :-)
To All our friends & supporters- thank you so, so much for all you have helped us achieve. I genuinely believe the future is bright - a few bumps along the way but there's no way you'll keep a good dog down :-) Keep up the good work, keep growing with your dogs & influencing others by good examples. This FB page will remain open with news of developments as we have them so please keep in touch :-)
