TeamFAST had a great day out at Nutter Dogs Agility competition , I ran Paul's dog Toby as well and loved every second!

Toby was 1st in Jumping and 2nd in Helter Skelter. Both were clear rounds. He got 10f in Agility and I missed out a jump in Tunnel Torment ... whoops!
Nova got 4 clear rounds, 1st in Agility and then a 2nd and two 3rds in the other classes.
Lorraine and Dotty got 3rd in Helter Skelter, Diane & Bella came 1st in Tunnel Torment.
Gillian and Nell and Becky and Lucy did some super duper runs and amazing contact points.

Becky teaching Lucy to be calm and patient on the A-Frame. Rachel's dog Tess is doing the mini Dog-Walk & A-Frame to help build her confidence ready to try the full height ones.

Using food in training is not bribery. Not once, not ever.

Now, it might be poor training mechanics as to when the food is presented, but it's still not bribery.

Food presented before the behaviour means the food can get locked in as part of the cue for that behaviour. Still not bribery, just poor training mechanics.

Food given after behaviour is a reinforcer. Still not bribery.

Using a ball, tug toy, play, petting, or genuine, meaningful praise is not bribery.

It's never bribery. Those who think it is, need to go back to the books and learn more, and/or brush up on their training mechanics.

Team FAST had a super weekend at Nutter Dog's Agility show and Wilsden Fun Charity dog show !

Nova - 3rd in Agility, Jumping and Steeplechase 1, 4th in Steeplechase 2, 3rd In Scruffiest Dog!
Claire & Fern - 1st in Jumping, 2nd in Steeplechase 1.
Gillian & Nell - 2nd in Steeplechase 2
Gemma & Margot did some super startlines, contacts and lefts and rights!
Liz & Corrie got 3rd in best trick and 2nd in Judge's favorite!
Sue & George got 3rd in Most Handsome Dog!

Clare, Diane and I had a fantastic time at Agilidogz on Saturday!.
Nova -
Jumping ... Clear 2nd,
Agility... 5f tunnel refusal and time faults but the most beautiful contacts and weaves ever!
Helter Skelter... Eliminated for back-jumping (video)
Power & Speed... Clear 1st Place!!
We also entered our first ever competitive Hoopers class and got a clear round, but I haven't seen the results yet.

Diane & Bella had lots of good bits in each round including some fantastic weaves as you can see in the video and Clare & Gracie did very well in their classes too, video includes their steeplechases and hoopers.

Diane and I also entered the Tunnel Exchange but Bella wouldn't run for me and Nova wouldn't run for Diane , so that was a disaster, hilarious, but still, a disaster !

We had rather a successful Sunday at Nutter Dogs Agility competition!! Most importantly though it was a fun day out with Friends and some delicious Sausage Rolls! ❤️

Nova, Run 1 ... Eliminated , Run 2 ...Clear 1st - Run 3 ..Clear 1st - Run 4 ... Clear 2nd !!

Dotty, Runs 1 & 2 Elminated, Run 3 was 5f and Run 4 was Clear 1st Place !

Diane and Bella got a 1st, Paul and Toby got THREE 1sts !!!

Becky & Lucy did some fantastic weaves, Gemma and MooTurd Moomin Manic Margot did some fantastic Startline Stays and Contact points, and Gillian with ReNellious left feeling very positive, Nell knocked less jumps down than usual and she could even calmly sit by the ring with us all!! 🏆
