Who knew a klenex box could come in such use! Optimism training for sweet little Kylo πΆπΆβΊοΈβΊοΈβ€οΈ
Kylo update: how did he get so big! ππππΆπΆπΎπΎ
Kylo update: he got a little present for Xmas so it was our first time trying the jump out properly outside! Iβm very mindful he is still a growing puppy and therefore not wanting to go crazy with setting a full jumping route up for him π or anything so just small steps but he seems to enjoy having a little jump so it was nice to see πππΆπΆπΎπΎ
Kylo day 67: his boundary training is coming on so well! Using a release cue is such a valuable thing to teach to get more control and duration on a boundary so your dog doesnβt just learn to wonder all the time. Iβve ended up using βokβ as my release cue as Iβve been using it in other games and situations so had build some value in it already. Itβs not always perfect and before this he got the food before having the release cue said, but itβs best to laugh and move on and try again! π (for the record Iβm not commanding him to βstayβ or βwaitβ: this is purely behaviour that has been built naturally so he wants to wait for his release cueπ) After this, he stayed on his boundary for a good 10 minutes or so whilst we ate dinner and then proceeded to destroy his bed, so itβs always small improvements that matter and looking at the bigger picture ππ dog training takes time so little and often is a good place to be πΆπΆπΎπΎπΎπΎ #prouddogtrainer
Kylo update: he makes me laugh so much sometimes π but at least he is enjoying his new lick pot! πΆπΆπΎπΎπΎ
