On Black Cat Appreciation Day… it seemed an appropriate day to share this… 🐈‍⬛

Sadly, we've had a lot of people recently request certain colours of kittens. 🤨

When speaking to adopters we regularly hear people say:

🐈 I only want a ginger kitten
🐈 I don’t like black cats
🐈 Black cats are bad luck

We struggle to understand the reason why. Surely, when adopting a family companion, the most important factor should be their personality. After all, their colour and breed make no difference to how they will fit into your family. ☹️

We believe that adopting an animal from a rescue
environment should always be about providing a loving
forever home.. and not about how the animal looks. We will not rehome to those who are only interested in their colour or breed.

If you are looking to adopt a kitten, please give them all a chance to shine. Speak to our team about their personality and which kitten we feel would be most suited to your current situation.

Our kittens stand firm in saying:

“My appearance won’t make you happy but my personality will. If you judge me based on my appearance, you don’t deserve me”

On the flip side, we do have many special adopters who come to us looking to make a difference to a rescue animal regardless of their appearance ❤️
