About Us

First opened in the late 1950’s by the late Kenneth Colman and his son Barry, the Centre has long been associated with prestigious show jumping events such as the Dunhill International. Today, the Centre and its livery yard are run by his granddaughter, Laura. While keen to preserve the Centre’s unique character, she is continuing to develop its potential:

After a break of a couple of months, we are pleased to announce that our British Dressage competitions will resume as of 26 March. Quest will resume from 5 April. All future dates are on the BD website and entries will be open on My Riding Life in due course. We look forward to welcoming old and new competitors to our venue.

Lots of tack and rugs for sale at Cherwell today. If you are competing come and have a look between rounds or if you not competing come and have a rummage and a coffee from the clubhouse.

This Sunday 14th July we will have a second hand store running by the secretary office.

There is a large quantity of rugs from top brands both pony and horse from summer sheets and fly rugs through to heavy weighted rugs for the winter all £10 each.

There is also a large amounts of tack, boots, brushes, saddle cloths, etc. All bargain prices to clear.

If you are jumping come and have a look between classes, if you hadn't planned to compete still come along and see if you can grab yourself a bargain.
