Since we started, Oxford Brookes University has been of great support to us. They have provided us with one of the best venues in the new building for our screenings: the John Henry Brookes Lecture Theatre. We are a group of enthusiasts who are passionate about documentaries and want to bring to all of you in Oxford the finest, and best documentaries around the glo
be. We started our meetings earlier in February and since we have worked towards the setup of a fun club where we all have our responsibilities and a voice to determine the programme and the type of organisation. As a team, we enjoy our committee meetings every week and after the end of all our hard work will aim to obtain a certificate of recognition in helping to set up a club from scratch. If you want part of our friendly club please contact us and join us. OXFORD BROOKES DOCUMENTARY CLUB MANIFESTO

Cine/Mobility - Latin American Online Film Festival - Oct-Nov 21.
What are the connections between the mobility of people, films and cultures? And how do these movements across borders take part in the hybrid histories, politics and communities of Latin-America?
The “Cine/Mobility” on-line film festival is an academic and curatorial project exploring multiple paths of mobility and border crossing between Latin-America and across the Atlantic, focusing on stories and experiences of migration, community-making, solidarity and resistance.
The festival consists of two strands: a program of virtual screenings and a series of round tables with film professionals and stakeholders. “Cine/Mobility” offers a complex understanding of the relationship between cinema and border crossing, and its political, economic, and cultural consequences by stimulating a dialogue between specialised audiences, professionals and academics.
All events are free and open to all. For more information and to book tickets, go the festival website:
