It is with regret (and absolute heartbreak) that I must inform you that I will no longer be trading after Friday 2nd June 2023.

I want to thank you whole heartedly for all of your support, kindness and friendship. Seeing my business grow over the last 8 years and to form so many great relationships, and meeting so many amazing animals (and people), has meant the absolute world to me.

This decision has many contributing factors and has been a very difficult one to make.

Following the pandemic and now the ongoing cost of living crisis, Cosy-Bee’s is no longer viable. Over the last 3 years, numerous attempts to create new income streams, cost cuts and a couple of price increases, my costs (both private and professional) have risen to the point in which I must look to move on.

I will continue providing all services as usual until Friday 2nd June 2023, allowing enough time for alternative arrangements to be made. I will be, of course, happy to help with the transition process in any way I can.

Thank you so much for helping me create and follow my dream over the last 8 years. It’s been a wonderful experience and one I’m so proud of.

Our gorgeous little Boo, we will miss you so much. For such a small Beanie you have left a massive hole in our hearts. Bringing you home eleven and a half years ago was the greatest hello, and today we’ve had to say our hardest goodbye. Heartbroken doesn’t begin to describe how devastated we are to lose you.

Here's some suggestions of how you can celebrate National Pet Day

1. Spend time with your pet: play with them, get them a new toy, blanket, bed, treats or all of the above.
2. Donate to a pet charity that helps improve the lives of cats, dogs, and other animals: Animals in Distress - Torbay & Westcountry, Little Valley Animal Shelter, Exeter (RSPCA), ARC Animal Rescue Centre Devon, Country Hill Animal Shelter, Blue Cross Devon, Just Whippets Rescue, Margaret Green Animal Rescue, Dogs Trust, Ilfracombe, Woodside Animal Sanctuary, Foredowne Kennels & Cattery, Hector's House Residents to name a few

🎉 🎁 🎉 8 YEARS TODAY 🎉 🎁 🎉

Today CBPS has been running for an amazing 8 years. None of it would have been possible if it hadn't been for the support of those closest to me, for standing by me through all of the tough times and celebrating each tiny accomplishment and big milestone. I am so incredibly grateful, and lucky, to be able to do a job that I love.

National Nestbox Week - Day 3

These suet cake holders are a great for filling with extra nesting materials at this time of year. Birds will often pick out lots of different materials to make theirs nests safe, warm and comfortable. The best things to put out are twigs, leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, moss, lichen, feathers, hay and natural fabrics (wool, cotton, jute & burlap). Just make sure any fabric scraps you put out are cut into small strips to avoid injury.

National Nest box Week - Day 2

My new nest boxes have arrived and they a so cute! They will be painted up this week, ready to be put out in the garden at the weekend 🏡🏡🏡

Today is the first day of National Nestbox Week, so to get in to the spirit of encouraging more feathered friends into our garden. I've opted for these bird feeders. And they are made from 100% recycled materials (each pack of three prevents 21 drinks cartons from going to landfill or being burnt).

They are great for the birds, great for the environment, and I don't even mind them not being squirrel proof because those cute little furries are welcome to snack in our garden too!
