Sunday 24th: 10am - 4pm
Monday 25th & Tuesdsy 26th: Closed
Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th: 10am - 3pm
Friday 29th: Closed (with no deliveries)
Saturday 30th: 10am - 3pm
Sunday 31st & Monday 1st: Closed
Tuesday 2nd: 9-5 (Normal Hours resume)

Update on store opening hours - Hi all we have taken the decision to take a well earned rest day on Sunday's. Therefore until further notice we will now be closed all day on a Sunday. Don't worry you can still visit us on any other day of the week. If you have any emergencies you can always contact us via phone or Facebook too.

Road Access Open As Normal - Just an advanced warning, South West Water will be closing part of Winner Street for 3 days starting 31/5/23. The closure is past the shop so access will not be affected. You can still park along Winner Street up to the shop and next to the shop and Clifton Road.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a premises near Paignton, as a result a 3km Captive Bird (Monitoring) Controlled Zone has been put in place.

We are currently advising the following safety precautions across Torbay:

Do not touch dead or sick wild birds

Keep dogs away from the birds

Do not feed wild birds

Lets talk about balls and does size matter?

When it comes to choosing an appropriate ball for your dog to play with there are a lot of options and some are more suitable than others. The full article will be soon be on our website www.partsparlour.co.uk but they key points are below:

Size: Choosing the right size for your dog's play is important to ensure play is safe and enjoyable. It is best to pick a ball that is small enough for your dog to carry but big enough so that it cant completely fit in your dogs mouth. The wrong size ball can be dangerous and a chocking hazard

Tennis Balls: It is best to avoid using tennis balls as part of your dogs play. The outer material is designed to withstand tennis and can be very abrasive on your dogs teeth. They are also designed to compress and can easily be popped by your dogs powerful jaw potentially making them a chocking hazard. There are tennis type balls specifically designed for dogs.

Material: Choosing the right material can make a difference to your dogs play. For example, does your dog prefer a squishy ball or a harder rubber ball that bounces? Is a rubber or plastic ball to hard for your small dog? If you take your dog to the water you might want to consider a floating ball or if you take your dog out in the dark a glow ball might be a good option.
