We sometimes get asked why we don’t allow humans inside our cattery and this video partly shows just one of the reasons 😸 Owners often walk along the outside looking to greet our guests then ask if we are empty as no one or very few cats can be seen outside. It can take us a large amount of time, love & patience to gain the trust of our furry guests, especially the naturally nervous and first time stays. Many guests will stay in their inside rooms when customers are coming and going as they don’t like new faces and people they don’t know can be scary but this video is very standard of what we see when we are closed to humans and it’s only us around 😻 So the inside is their safe space and they can choose to venture out to say hello to humans if they so wish, resulting in happy, relaxed babies, settled in each and every room knowing they are safe ❣️

We have such a variety of beautiful breeds staying with us currently, one of which we don’t see very often (other than our own Angel), that being two gorgeous Sphynx cats!😻 How lucky are we to spend our days surrounded by all of these fabulous felines ❣️
We are booking up for next year super fast already! Please do get dates reserved with us as early as possible to avoid disappointment 😸🐾

Something a little different! 😸
We recently ordered some caterpillars to grow into butterflies as a gift to my dad (Handyman Aaron) and his grandchildren. We have been watching them change over the last few weeks and today was the day to release the 9 hatched butterflies! 🐛🦋
Highly recommend the kits from Insect Lore if you like naturey things. Even though they are packaged for children, the adults here were most excited watching the changes! 😻

Freshly dropped chicken feathers have been collected and dished out again today which have sent many guests wild 😹 So many sniffs, smells and smacking fun! 😻🪶
‼️Please note- We are currently changing network provider so our phoneline, WhatsApp & texts may be temporarily interrupted over the next few days. Emails & facebook messenger will still be working as normal 😺‼️

🎉🎉Sweet girl Betty is celebrating her 20th birthday today at Fairparks! 🎉🎉
Betty comes to visit us often and is such a content lady, she purrs nonstop from morning till night, we have never seen her not purring away!❣️
What lovely birthday cards she has had too! I showed her the photo of her as a kitten and she gave the biggest head nudge into it.
She has scoffed her birthday treats and is now snoozing peacefully.

Sometimes when dropping off your babies to us we let you know that they are in a changeover room. What does this mean❓
Just like in a human hotel, we have to wait for the previous guest to check out before we can then clean the room and dress it for the next guest 😸
After a departure, the room will be emptied, swept & then jet washed from ceiling to floor with our animal safe disinfectant. Then it is wiped down, mopped & hand dried.
The cats needs ALWAYS come first. This means the phone, emails & messages always wait until every cat is settled in their room and all of our daily routines are complete.
Our cleaning standards have never, and will never be compromised. We are very proud that our incredibly high cleaning standards, which eradicate all fleas and harmful germs, combined with our room designs that completely isolate each cat from their neighbours, has meant that we have never had a single outbreak of cat flu, or any other disease and we opened almost two decades ago!
I think Poppy says *high 5* to that! 😻🐾
