Our Story

Hi! My name is Madeleine, im a Qualified Staff Nurse, but my other big passion in life is cats! I’ve loved and cared for cats for over 30 years, so in 2017 I decided to have a career change, and turn my passion into a Full Time Business called “Madeleine’s Moggies” which is based in Paisley, Renfrewshire. My company is Fully Insured with Petplan Sanctuary, one of the biggest and most reputable Pet Insurace companies in Britain. I consider myself to be very kind, caring, loving, trustworthy, responsible and a massive animal lover, which I feel are vital qualities to have to do a job like this! I have International Accredited Certificates in Animal Care, Pet Sitting and Animal Training, Vetenary Support Work and Essential Cat and Kitten Care! I also have a full, up to date PVG Disclosure Scotland Form. As a Professional Cat Sitter, I will care for your beloved cat/cats in the comfort of their own home when you are on holiday/business or have any other commitments. I will send you daily updates on how your cat is doing, along with pics or videos via wassap to reassure you all is well! My duties include putting out fresh food and water for your cat, cleaning the litter tray, grooming, administering medication to your cat if necessary, including administering injections for diabetic cats. I also let your cat in and out if they are an outdoor cat, play time to keep your cat entertained, cuddles if your cat desires it, and any other requests you may have for your cat, i’m happy to oblige! I also liaise with all the local Vetenary Practices, so if your cat becomes unwell and in need of medical attention, I transport your pet to their registered Vetenary Practice for any medical treatment that they may require. If you have any other pets at home ie hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs or gold fish, I am more than happy to take care of them also.”Madeleine’s Moggies” covers the whole of Renfrewshire including Paisley, Linwood, Johnstone, Bridge of Weir, Houston, Lochwinnoch, Erskine, Bishopton, Inchinnan, Barrhead and Renfrew.

“Madeleine’s Moggies” also provides a Home Boarding Service for cats and kittens, and has Reliable and Trustworthy Staff to accommodate too!

Other services involve bringing in your mail, watering your plants, opening and closing your curtains morning and evening, setting alarm systems if necessary, putting out your bins and overall keeping a watchful eye on your property when you are not at home! It really is a very valuable service! My fee is £10 for one daily visit and £15 for two daily visits for clients based in Paisley.
