Merry Christmas from all at Abbey Vet Group!

We tried to do the cute wrapping paper trend but our staff dogs had other opinions 😅

Remember to give your pets a safe space to go if you're hosting a busy celebration and don't give them any unsafe foods like cooked bones, onion or mince pies!

We hope you and your pets have a great day 🐾

This allows time for vets (after busy consults) to view clinical history, put the prescription through, and the nurses to order the medication and label ready for collection when it has arrived.

Festive Ordering Dates:

Order by the 23rd for prescriptions or food needed before the 30th.
Order by the 27th for prescriptions or food needed before the 2nd.

This gorgeous Main C**n kitten saw vet Colleen for his vaccinations, health check and microchip. Can you see his extra toes?

Harris is here to tell everyone that microchips are not scary and they are very important for pets to find their way back to their owners!

Remember to register your pet's microchips, and update your details. If you are unsure your pet is chipped, you can arrange a nurse consultation to check ✔️

This might be a daily post at this point 🫣 our Greenock carpark is covered in snow. Please avoid parking there if you can as it can be very difficult to get out of when slippery. The team are working on clearing some of it.

The carpark for Paisley is also slippery due to the sleet coming down currently. Please take care on your way into the practice 🐾 ☃️

It's a frosty one!

Snow has started to coat our Greenock carpark. We have sprinkled grit to help your visit. Please be careful during your visit and remember to wash your pets paws if they've come into contact with grit/salt to reduce irritation 🐾

Our Greenock surgery is awaiting some repairs to our front door. We're still open, please come in through the side door instead! 😁
