Beating the heat with a lovely early morning walk before another busy Saturday! 🐾

Remember with temperatures rising it may be unsafe to walk your dog during your normal hours. Even when it begins to cool the tarmac can still be too hot for their toe beans 🫘 If you can't walk on it bare foot then they probably shouldn't either 👣

Please be safe out there and remember to drink plenty of water 😊🩷🐾

Dougie 🩷

Oh Dougie you have my heart. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dougie last week and giving him a well-needed and deserved groom, and what a transformation he had 😍

Dougie is a rescue and is currently in foster care and waiting to find his forever home 💕 he was an absolute pleasure to have in the dog pod and I wish him all the very best in finding his forever home 🩷

Let's talk springers 🐶

Did you know there are a few different ways that you can groom your springer spaniel? 🐾

Clipping 🩷
- A springer spaniel can be clipped to maintain a short coat which is easy to clean and quick to dry

De-Shed 🩷
- De-Shedding when your dog is malting takes all the loose hair of the dog's coat, reducing the amount of hair that your dog leaves around the house.

Hand Strip 🩷
- Hand Stripping involves removing your dog's dead coat before it goes into a full shed.

Sometimes you can't resist a little selfie especially when they are this cute 🥰

I picked up The Handsome Winston for his first visit to Mucky Paws 🐾 after a brush, bath, and a very good de-shed, Winston smelled absolutely divine and was ready to be dropped back off to enjoy the rest of his day with his dad.

Don't forget we offer a pick up and drop off service for anyone that needs it 🩷

No hidden costs here at Mucky Paws Dog Grooming 🩷

✨ Specialised shampoo ( flea and tic, fox poo) you won't be charged extra for.

✨Matting the odd one or two you won't be charged for. Unless the dog is extremely matted then no additional charge will be added

✨Nails they are included in a full groom, so unless you are booking in specifically for nails then you won't be charged

So why not treat your dog to a pamper 🫧🐾🐶

🐾🤎Everyone loves jumping in Muddy Puddles!🤎🐾

Especially young Evie, who had to come in today for an Emergency Bath!

Evie is a regular Customer who cannot resist a mud bath! Unfortunately for her, it may have been more than just mud she decided to bathe in today, leaving her with quite an aroma 👀

A short while later, she was cleaned up🫧 Scrubbed up🫧 and smelling Fantastic! She was even treated to a blueberry facial 🫐🫧

If someone asks if size matters? Well it doesn't at Mucky Paws!

From Miniature to... Not so miniature... we do it all!

So whether your little friend needs a spa day, or your horse sized partner needs a trim, we are here to accommodate ☺️

All of our equipment is fully height adjustable to allow dogs of all sizes to get on or off, in or out on their own. This avoids the need to pick them up or having them climb stairs which for large or elderly dogs can be quite difficult and possibly damage their hips!
