Check out these absolutely amazing micro predators! These guys are about as small as they come and like to eat mites and springtails, perfect predators for tiny ecosystems!

This is probably some of the best footage I’ve ever caught in the bug room!
This video is close up footage of our black fire millipedes (centrobolus fulgidus) mating.
Notice how the males front legs are different from the females? That’s because millipedes sexual organs are at the front, those front legs are specially designed to pass his sperm over to the female and If you look closely you can actually see the sperm being passed over towards the end of the video!
Can you believe all this is happening whilst they are in my hand!
These guys have been at it like crazy over the last few months and the soil in their enclosure is full of babies right now. Super chuffed to have caught this footage!
