Homelands Equestrian is now expanding with further facilities available for hire!!

• 23-acre Cross Country training course
• 6-furlong grass canter track
• 20 x 60m Grass Dressage arena (or 20 x 40m if required)
• Grass Jumping field

We are also running our unaffiliated Dressage Summer series through June, July and August with a Championship over the series.

Homelands Dressage is running again this year with classes covering Intro, Prelim and Novice tests. The series will also include the accumulating Championship with points gained each competition.

With this continued weather effecting so many competitions, with Belsay International being the latest abandonment, it is becoming harder to get the runs in.

We can help!! Our new XC training facility is fully open and offers jumps covering heights from BE100, Novice, 2*, Intermediate & 3*.

Our ground is perfect with a good grass cover. We have educating forward lines over undulating ground to establish balance of both horse and rider.

Our stunning grass dressage arena (20m x 60m) is open for hire for the next 2 weeks. We will be adding this to our booking system today.

Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink!! Having to drain the water out of the Carp Pond complex to set the right level. Then once the drain is in place this wont need to happen!!

It feels like I have created my own beach!! The water jump is kept very full while it settles in.

Very exciting times!! After nearly 3 weeks working onshaping the water complex and the surrounding contouring, it is now shaped, dry, sub-liner drainage completed and all ready for the sand base, liner (30mx15m), membrane and some 100 tonnes of stone - tomorrow!! Once the liner is in and secure we can finish contouring the ground works around the water complex.

With the sun shining bright today we are back on site completing work on the last major fence - the water complex.

Well, last nights rain has filled the water complex in one go and its holding well. One slight issue - we have yet to put the liner and membrane and stone down. However it gives us a good idea on what it will look like.

Another productive day on site, another teaser video of the course build. This time a 360 view from the centre of the base structure in the water complex. Still lots to build and blend in however starting to look amazing. With the size being 30mx15m it offers so many possible options and lines for all levels of training.

After a visit today from the main man “James Willis” who is happy with the progress, adding some exciting tweaks for the sunken road opening up more lines and options!!
