Scentwork level 1 course.

Do something that your dog loves, sniffing!

In this foundation course, you’ll learn about imprinting a novel scent, search patterns, searching different environments, indoors and outdoors how scent works and lots more.

Starting August the 14th 11am-1.30pm at training unit near Portlethen, then 28th August and 11th September

We haven’t been on here for the last couple of weeks as we’ve been super busy fulfilling contracts and 121s. However we are back in the swing with our first Scentwork Scotland workshop Gone Wi’ the Wind - Improving Sourcing Skills. A suitably windy day it enabled us to fully demonstrate how we can use the wind to improve our sourcing skills! Well done all.

Welcome to the new look Scentwork Scotland!

We initially launched in 2019 but Covid19 stopped play, however, following a collaboration between us at Tynewater Canine and Awesome Paws Academy Aberdeen, we are off and running again. We are scent Instructors who have a passion for canine nosework and the joy of being one half of a canine nosework partnership.

We want to create an exciting programme of events for you and your dog to enjoy on your nosework adventure. Scentwork Scotland aims to be a one stop shop for all your dog’s nosework needs and over the coming months we will introduce the elements of scentwork, mantrailing, tracking and truffle hunting.

We are kicking off with scentwork and workshops and classes will be starting at the end of the month.
