Peacehaven Dog Field
• Is the Paddock secure? The Paddock is enclosed with metal stock fencing approx. 1.15m high. The wire has been bent forwards at the base and pegged to the ground at frequent intervals. It is the Paddock Users responsibility to check to see if the Paddock is suitable and safe for their dog’s needs. The fencing may not be sufficient to prevent escape by more determined or athle

tic dogs. Please feel free to contact us to come and have a look if you need to do this.
• With regards to bio-security the risks of using the field is the same as going for any other normal dog walk. We cannot guarantee that all dogs exercised in the field have been vaccinated. Equally the same applies for natural issues such as ticks and grass seeds.
• Please note there are no toilets available on site.
• Water is available via a hose.
• Payments are made through the online booking procedure and the secure payment platform 'Stripe'.
• Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email. The email will contain the date and time of your booking along with details of the padlock code(s) which change regularly. If you do not receive our confirmation email, please check your ‘junk’ inbox.
• By making a booking, you are automatically agreeing to abide by the Rules, Terms & Conditions below. Please read them thoroughly. Rules, Terms & Conditions
BOOKINGS must be paid for at the time of booking and are non-transferable and non-refundable. The person making the booking must be present and must ensure that anyone else attending is made aware of and adheres to the Rules, Terms and Conditions. Bookings can be amended up to 24 hours prior to your booked slot. You must only use the field if you have booked a time slot. ARRIVE & LEAVE ON TIME Slots start on the hour and last 45 mins. We ask that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of your slot and you are gone by 10 to the hour. Extensions for late arrivals will not be permitted. Parking, changing footwear, drying dogs and leaving all need to be completed within your time slot. We have purposely left space between bookings so reactive dogs & shy owners are not affected by other dogs/people. If you do arrive early, please keep your dog(s) within your car and wait in the main farmyard. Please ensure the person before you has left before entering the field. If for any reason beyond your control you will still be onsite after your time slot has elapsed, please call 07884491385. A MAXIMUM OF 6 DOGS AND 2 VEHICLES can be used on one booking. COLLECT DOG POO All dog poo must be picked up. Should your dog do a runny p**p while at the field, please wash the p**p into the ground. There is a poo bin provided. (Failure to adhere to this rule could result in the offending person(s) being banned indefinitely). To keep the field clean and pleasant for all we ask that if you notice any poo that has been missed by another user you pick it up; next time it could be your dog’s. ACCEPTABLE NOISE LEVELS Please refrain from making unnecessary loud noises or allowing your dog to continually bark. 7-9am bookings together with bookings past 7pm are ‘quiet slots’. NO DIGGING Please DO NOT allow your dog to dig at the fences, in grassland or in the barked areas. DO NOT SHARE THE PADLOCK CODE This ensures that only authorised people can enter the field both during and between appointments. KEEP GATE CLOSED Please make sure the field gate is closed and locked immediately upon entering and leaving the field. DO NOT let the next person through. They should not be there when you leave anyway - that is why we have a buffer between sessions, and if they don't have a code themselves, they should never gain entry. It is each person's responsibility to leave the field locked & empty - we can't run a safe & efficient service if you undermine our security system! CHILDREN are welcome but must be always supervised by an adult. RESPECT AND SAFETY The field is provided for the pleasure of many. Please use common sense and act with consideration for other members. Ensure that damage and associated risks are kept to a minimum. Take care when using the field as the ground maybe uneven in places. Please do not climb on fencing, gates, trees, or apparatus. Report any concerns to: [email protected]
EATING AND SMOKING BBQs and Smoking are not permitted anywhere on site. NO LITTER OR BROKEN TOYS/BALLS No litter (including broken toys/balls) whatsoever must be left on site. This includes uneaten foods/ treats. AGILITY EQUIPMENT If you have hired the agility equipment you will be given addition information including the padlock code. The apparatus must be used in the top part of the field and stacked and tidied away as per the instructions. Please respect the agility equipment that we provide - it is for dogs only, and is very expensive. No person should stand, sit on, or use it for any purpose other than dog training. ACCOMPANY YOUR DOG(S) – You should accompany your dog(s) at all times, so you are aware of what your dog(s) is/are doing and that they are safe and complying to the rules, terms and conditions. DO NOT leave a dog unaccompanied in the field. SECURITY For security your vehicle(s) registration number(s) must be added to every booking you make. Fun, fun, fun for Rowan at the Kelluki Agility show this last weekend despite rain on Thursday followed by very hot and sunny days which doesn't agree with either of us! Lots of near misses and fabulous 'E' for excellent elimination runs which are often the (nearly) best runs of all and also many new rosettes to add to his collection. He was placed in nearly half of his runs; 2 x 1st, 3 x 2nd, a 3rd and a 4th! Just loving agility with this love;y boy!

We have just pulled this out of Fidget’s ear! She was persistently shaking her head and scratching her ear after tonight’s walk. Luckily she has been taught to put her chin in my hand and keep still so Paul was able to get a torch and blunt ended forceps and reach in and pull it out. No more head shaking and now fast asleep on the sofa

This clever lad was placed in 9 of his 12 runs at Frittenden this weekend - of the others, 2 were most definitely caused by bad handling and who knows what went wrong on the 3rd!
6 First and 3 Second places takes him to Grade 5. I am so proud of him as his first show was only last April and he is proving to be an honest, trustworthy and keen partner!

Thanks to all our trainers and supporters x

"Dogs don't understand don't, because don't is a concept. Dogs understand DO. They understand behaviours.

Create a beahviour that you DO want, so that your dog can be right and you're setting him up for reinforcement.

This makes for a much better relationship for you and your dog, and for anybody else who comes in contact with your dog."

- Susan Garett
