🐾🌟 Basic puppy training 🌟🐾

Sometimes we make things for more complicated than they truly need to be and the best bit of advice I can give you to build the most solid foundations with your puppy is simply to spend time with them.

No luring with treats just lots of cuddles, building a bond.

If they want to follow, let them follow.

If they need reassurance, give them reassurance

Use your voice, use praise when needed

No need to nag, or overuse their name. Simply allow them to feel into your energy, they read you better than you think.

And once your puppy is naturally starting to offer you certain behaviours, that is when you know they are ready to begin more training.

Not everything had to be a set training session.
Your puppy is learning 24/7.

Keep it simple, stop overthinking and enjoy spending time with your pup.

How are we all fairing in the intense energies that are truly making sure you are being clear on your plans moving forward and removing everything that cannot come forward with you?

It’s been a year of intense growth for me and I know that will resonate with many others in the collective, it’s not always been pretty and there has been a lot of back and forth as I have had one step out the door and into the new chapter.

However now is the time to step fully into this witchy energy for me embrace this spiritual path that I am on as I have cleared the decks and am working on some exciting new projects behind the scenes.

More on those another day, for now I am very excited to say my diary is officially back open for the following services:

🌟🐾 Behind the scenes 🐾🌟

We have been a little busy juggling everything this last week as the puppies have needed a bit more time in amongst the humans appointments and such like.

So here is a little throw back to some of the antics we had going on behind the scenes and this was ahead of the puppies beginning their weaning journey.

Now I know my dogs well enough to know that this will have no lasting effect on the puppies behaviour around a food bowl and it’s perfectly normal behaviour for this age of puppy to show a sudden interest in food. It’s how we know they are more than ready for the next stage of their development.

The puppies are now all group feeding off a flat surface and enjoying their raw food, having settled on Naturaw as their first food.

Bramble now gets to eat in peace away from her pups and then clean up the carnage of feed time once the puppies are done

I am back everyone! I has had a couple of very sleepy days, I mean being this cute requires lots and lots of beauty sleep.

Top tip no. 2.

They definitely don’t need personal space in the shower or at any time in the bathroom.

Now you may hear some curse words from your human slave in this instance but you will get their attention. I promise.
Humans have a need for daily showers, so make sure to join them, sponges make good tug toys & shampoo bottles are fabulous for fetch, more so when you then jump out leaving a trail of destruction in your path.
Sometimes however they may catch you before hand making sure you are bathed too so if you don’t wish to have your own pamper session you have to be quick!

if they are relaxing in the bath, dive bomb in those bubbles it is the bestest game ever because you need to be touching your human slave at all times!
My human slave was not impressed and says I crossed a line here, however it had been 30 seconds that I had been left to my own devices and I missed her! I mean how ungrateful was she for my efforts.

The toilet roll game is also fantastic at any age and although it’s a well versed game as a pupster, it also works fabulously especially when your human can see you eyeing it up and you do it anyway. Now if it is attached to anything, simply grab and bolt. You get this fabulous decorative approach to the game.
If it’s not, grab that and run for the hills, they make the most amazing confetti.

Hello everyone’s.
It’s been a little while but not too long since my last update. I have been incredibly busy behind the scenes causing absolute carnage and letting everyone know who is still very much the boss as well as harnessing my destructive skills and zoomie abilities. Now I have some news…my human is letting me loose with my own series!

So here is the first bite size training for my canine counterparts to build into life.

🌟💙 How to train your human 🌟💙

Right guys, it’s time to let you into my top secrets for getting my human to do as I want her to, and boy let me tell you it’s taking some practise but we are getting there. These humans can be super stubborn, thinking they know best!

Let’s discuss top tips around when they require personal space or getting their attention after a period of being ignored. I would say 3 seconds of being ignored is perfectly acceptable before choosing such methods to create engagement.

Top tip no. 1

Humans don’t really need personal space when sitting down.

They like to pretend they do, but they really don’t and everyone knows that us cocker spaniels are the bestest at lacking spatial awareness…although my Auntie Bramble who is a springer also had this down to a fine art! I am taking notes to finesse my skills as she says humans make the bestest bowling pins, it’s just about hitting them at the right angle for maximum effectiveness of getting them to the ground.

Whenever your human stops saying they need a minute, you make sure to climb on top of them, making as much fuss in doing so. Spend ages trying to get comfy or take a leave out of Auntie Torvi’s book and just sit on their heads! As soon as they think you have settled, make sure to move again…it can be a wiggle or it can be a full blown make them wear their coffee…both tricks will make sure full attention is back on you.

🌟Behind the scenes 🌟

Bramble and her brood are all doing really well, all puppies are gaining and turning into little chunks.
Bramble doesn’t appreciate them being massively handled at this stage besides the little bits I am doing and that’s perfectly acceptable.
Handling experience can be made up in no time when they are a little bit older without it having a negative impact further down the line.

Puppies are being put through their paces as you can see with the rearrangement of bedding from Mummy Bramble who is clearly working on developing lovely strong pups.
