Maine C**n breeder located in East Lothian. I have been breeding and showing Maine C**ns since 2004 Spirritz is registered with G.C.C.F., T.I.C.A and C.F.A.

and as such I abide by their rules, regulations and Code of Ethics. Our breeding cats have been tested clear of HCM via echocardiogram & DNA testing, thus all kittens are negative for the one known DNA mutation associated with HCM. As well as HCM all our breeding cats are negative for SMA via DNA testing. We will only place kittens in homes that offer a life-long commitment, these will be indoor o

r homes with a secure garden or catio/enclosure. We have never let a kitten go to a home where it will be alone for the majority of the day, they love to have other felines for company. Maine C**ns are very sociable, they will follow you around the house and will involve themselves in everything that you do, whether you want them to or not. All kittens are raised in our home, they are born and remain in the kitten room until after their first vaccinations, they are then allowed the run of the house, meeting our adult cats, dog and getting used to normal household noises. All our kittens are fully weaned, litter trained, receive a full course of Flu and Enteritis vaccinations, are micro-chipped and all kittens going as pets are neutered prior to leaving us at 15/16 weeks of age. At the Scotia Cat Fanciers show yesterday Ghost won his third grand certificate, best of breed and 2 x 1sts in his misc classes, then he was awarded Best of Variety Section 2 Adult! Subject to confirmation he is now GCCF Grand Champion Mainemarie Ghost of Spirritz.

We had a good day at the Maine C**n Cat Club 2023 show. Spirritz Copper Inthe Clouds won his third and final Grand certificate, thank you Mrs Lyall, Best of Breed, a first and second in his side classes. He then went on to be awarded Best Neuter Male in show by Elaine Culf followed by David Redtfeldt giving him Overall Best Neuter and then down to the last three for Overall Best in Show which was won by the lovely Adult Male, Isadoryou Herakles

Went to the Teesside Cat Club show yesterday, it was lovely to catch up with everyone and congratulations on your results. Pr Spirritz Copper Inthe Clouds did nothing in the Grand class against three other lovely lads, he did win Best of Breed, 2 firsts in his side classes and much to my surprise he was BEST IN SECTION NEUTER! As you can see Copper was his usual relaxed self, lol.

Ice and Deacon where echocardiogram heart scanned by Frane Ivasovic at the Small Animal Hospital in Glasgow today. Absolutely delighted that neither boy showed any sign of HCM.
