ATTENTION!!
As some of you may have been aware I have been rather seriously ill, So I've not actually been able to do dogs walks in fact I've only walked one dog in the past month and that was a huge struggle at the time, It's been a slow process but I'm getting there. I know most of my clients have left and that's understandable but I just wanna get back to doing the job I love so it means back to the beginning and building my clients back up. So I do have spaces available. So whether your an old client wanting to come back or a new client wanting to join please get in touch. So if you live within 8 miles of Pen*stone don't hesitate to get in touch, 1-1 walks available and I now offer buddy walks too max 2 dogs per hour walk. Let's create some happy waggy moments

Well safe to say the heavens have opened, and unfortunately for me I'd left my wellies outside so they were full of water and my walking boots had been half eaten by my own dog, so we both ended up with wet feet today as most of the walk was flooded

So Ozzy & Davros get lots of negative comments and looks on walks, but these two are my biggest diva's it has to be said they both like to pull like a train, both have tantrums when they don't get there own way, and both cry when been ignored by others honestly these 2 proper make me chuckle they like to think they are the boss which they both fail terribly at 😂😂

So I am currently doing a cat sitting for the next 11 days for Frank and Noel. First evening visit both avoided me completely, this evening i did make some progress i tried using treats no luck but I did win over Noel and I think he definitely enjoyed his fuss for sure

Yesterday's walk with Red, such a handsome chap loves to smell everything and does pull like a steam train which makes it a little difficult for his owner so we are slowly working on that

So I am currently dog sitting for Roxy the german shepherd so I'm sharing my time between 2 houses atm we did a morning walk and Roxy was not happy with all the squirrels in the woods lots of barking 😂😂😂 plus we did get lost and ended up in the middle of nowhere

It's been a lovely walk for Davros and very sociable today he had such a positive interaction with a dog passing by no growls, no been spooked actually wiggled his tail. And had some great interaction with people walking behind or past normally he gets a little on edge but today he absolutely smashed it even got some compliments from other people but the biggest achievement from Davros today he did pull like a train actually understood lead pressure and that he wasn't the leader so definitely deserved his snuggle from me

Well listen ears definitely didn't work today for any of these 3 today as zoomies and play was at the forefront slowly starting to see Nala grow in confidence and come out of her shell more, expecially loves attacking Nachos ears when on lead and chasing Bella round my legs.

And lastly Nala she has absolutely smashed every challenge given to her this week was amazing in busy areas surrounded by people and dogs and yesterday she was amazing when on our walk been approached by dogs not once did she react or get nervous she sat and she waited honestly she's truly starting to find her feet tomorrow she gets to have a play date walk with Nacho & Bella

So as the weather was too rainy yesterday for my new client Red I was unable to take any photos but his owner has kindly sent me some so I can show him off, so it's safe to say he's a puller but once we got the lead situation sorted out and he began to understand pressure and began to focus more on myself than on the whole world around, Reds journey will be focused more on lead walking and understanding of the world and interactions as due to the vets he's been restricted to garden time. So I'm really looking forward to seeing him progress

So yesterday at the request of the client we took a walk around a busy shopping outlet as Nala had been a little reactive to people and dogs, honestly she absolutely smashed it not one single bark or lunge at any person or dog for that matter we even made a visit into pets at home where she got a fuss and even had some pups approach her not a single reaction, Nala definitely wasn't the nervous dog she normally is, it's lovely to see her progress in a positive way, so not every walk has to be in a field or park we did a walk to tailor around the needs of the client and the needs of the dog.

2 years ago today my beautiful American Bulldog Coco crossed over the doggy rainbow 🌈 she was the reason I became a dog walker, the reason I fell in love with big breeds, the reason I will always devote my love and time to giving reactive, nervous, large dogs a chance. She had a tough life used by her previous owners a breeding factory, used to look tough when gangster wannabes came knocking, the day I met her was the day not only did I know she'd saved me but when she put her head on my knees I knew I was saving her, she was more than just a dog she represented hope, a second chance, love, happiness loyalty. Gone but never will she be forgotten, ohh and she loved to sing

The struggle is real when you literally love your furry friends too much you end up with over 4000 photos & videos which means it's such a struggle to get content on my walks so unfortunately no videos today as I ran out of storage ahhhh, some lovely 1-1 walks today which I do enjoy.

This mornings walk with the trio Nala, Nacho & Bella was such a lovely wholesome walk, Was so lovely to see small but huge baby steps, for the first time Nala didn't get nervous with noises in the woods, she didn't shy back from been at the front and on a few occasions we got to see her personality come through, and most of all it was lovely to see her hop into back seat on the way back to her home normally she would just shy away in boot so A* for Nala today hopefully another good walk tomorrow morning

Honestly Davros has been such a star since joining It's A Waggy Life he has been amazing, only barked once at me when picking him up today, went straight outside and waited for his lead to be put on without even been told, even enjoyed getting a fuss mid walk which he's never let me do even sat and waited while 2 off lead dogs got a little too close for comfort to top it all off even let me dry him off with the towel paws included which is huge as he hates his front paws been touched.
