***MISSING*** NOW FOUND!!

2 young male Jack Russells missing since last night from a farm near Royd Moor reservoir. They do roam on the farm and often down to the reservoir but usually bring themselves home. They are very friendly and may have been picked up by someone thinking they are lost. They are collared and chipped.

Please contact Briar Vets with any sightings or information 🀞🏻🐢

🧑🀍 🐱DAVE 🐱🀍🧑

Poor Dave the cat came to see vet Lydia as an emergency after he made his way home with a broken front leg and concussion while his owners were on holiday! His x-ray revealed that this lovely boy had been shot with an air rifle, shattering his leg into three pieces with the pellet lodged in his armpit. Dave responded very well to initial treatment and his dedicated owners made the difficult decision to amputate Dave’s injured leg to give him a chance as a tripawd. Vet Lydia and nurse assistant Lou carried out the surgery, and as you can see from Dave’s post-op pictures, it was a resounding success! This lovely, lucky, boy is back out in the sun where he belongs, despite someone’s best efforts, and we wish him all the best 🧑🀍🧑
