WCF PENRITH “LOCK IN” dog training events are back !
6-12 May is DOG ANXIETY AWARENESS WEEK!
As tourist season is fast upon us with the May Bank Holidays and the summer holidays soon approaching we thought we would revisit the theme of socialising your dog in a busy world of people !
Along with esteemed local dog trainer Jen Cartmel from Clever Dogs we will be holding 6 “lock in” dog training events through May and June where groups of dogs will be put through a series of tasks devised to help them and their owners cope with everyday events. The exercises will include
🐾 Meet and greet
🐾 Sit and wait
🐾 Weigh in
🐾 Harness fitting
🐾 Recall down the “aisle of temptation “
🐾 Send away
🐾 Scent discrimination
🐾 Pet shopping list sweep
