As most of you are aware Michael is doing an ultra marathon challenge for Wellchild charity! 🏃

He completed the first marathon yesterday- the Boscastle scramble marathon by purple gecko events. 🦎

He came 21st male in the race which included a gruelling 6010 feet of elevation! 😱

Good morning all,

As many of you may know Mike has run for a couple of years now. But now whe wants to make all those miles count for something by doing something insane for charity.
So he has had the insane idea to do an ultra marathon challenge all in aid of Well Child.

4 ultra marathons,
An 100mile ultra marathon in January 🥶
4 normal marathons
3 peaks challenge
24hr hike and incase that wasn't enough...
London Marathon 2025.

If anyone can spare a few quid I'm sure it'll make him feel all fuzzy and warm to help combat hypothermia during the 100miler in January 🤣

But in all seriousness, hopefully by doing something so crazy he'll be able to raise the most he can for this incredible cause.

We are a family run family friendly pub. We have zero tolerance for drugs in our establishment.
This includes
- using drugs
- talking about drugs
- asking for drugs
- supplying drugs

We have constant CCTV recording all over the pub and the garden.
We also have a zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour towards our staff and patrons.

If a member of staff see or hear anything to do with drugs you will be asked to leave and not to return. If anybody turns aggressive towards our staff footage will be passed onto the police to deal with.

Our Story

We are a friendly family run bistro bar based in Pentewan Cornwall. After intense refurbishment we opened May 30th 2018. We offer a large selection of drinks and fresh homemade meals. We would be delighted if you could also join us for Sunday lunch which is served from 12 till 6 every Sunday so come on down have a game of pool a few drinks and most of all a great time.
