We have a daily visitor to the practice, she likes to help herself to the bird food so Elliott decided to get her an early Christmas present- her own picnic table complete with an umbrella! (Hopefully it won’t blow away this weekend!)

Spotlight on a breed - The Dandie Dinmont 😃

The Dandie Dinmont is a breed of terrier from Scotland and Northumberland who are named after a character in the Sir Walter Scott novel ‘Guy Mannering’ and are recorded back as far as the 1600’s.

Yesterday we met a new Dandie pup at the practice called Freddie 🥰 who happily greeted everyone, he’s such a confident little guy!

We also have an adult Dandie Dinmont registered with us called Cressie who is such a sweet and clever girl, we always love a visit from her. And before her, came her father -Terry, he was a real gentleman.

The breed are known for their gentle nature and are great with children though sadly they have been recognised as one of the rarest native dog breeds to the British Isles.

New puppy classes start next week!
If you have a puppy aged between 8 and 16 weeks who have had their first vaccinations and would like to join our socialisation sessions then give us a call!
