The Cat is finally out of the bag🤣
Just to stress this is for the DIY shop only.
Clemo's Pet's and Household will carry on as normal for a few years yet.

We wish Jamie every success for the future.

I am very excited to finally announce that, as of 1st March this year, I will be taking over Clemo’s DIY & Gardening shop in St.Just. The shop will be renamed St.Just DIY and Gardening and on the whole it will be mainly staying the way it is now. There will be a few adjustments and changes but all hopefully positive alterations.

Clemo has decided that after many years of successfully running two shops with his wife Val. Along side being a county councillor and many other hobbies to fill his “spare time”. That the time has finally come to “ease back” and just run the one shop with Val. Also maybe do another term on the council, just in case he gets bored and for Val’s sanity.

So I’ve seen this as an opportunity to try something new! Clemo has been very generous in his deal and he’s even sold me the business including his excellent assistant/my mum Anna Jenkin. So there will still be a familiar face around for all you regulars.

I will be continuing my current job working for Richard Thomas on his farm in sennen as well as running the shop. I am very excited to see where this new journey takes me and look forward to meeting customers old and new. I would also like to thank the few people that have known about this for a while now and done an amazing job at keeping it a secret. As well as all the help you’ve given me so far, it is very appreciated.

FAKE £5 NOTES
Beware - there seems to be a lot of fake £5 notes doing the rounds at the moment.
Easiest way to spot one is to look at the Big Ben hologram,
should be gold and easy to see on front of note but should look silver on the back of note (not orange).
