Mill Leat holiday accommodation lies in a valley on the B3311 between Penzance (5 miles) and St Ives (3 miles), in the village of Nancledra. Originally a row of 3 cottages, Mill Leat is now a detached residence offering private accommodation on the ground floor, with the owners (Richard and Sally) occupying the top floor. The holiday accommodation has its own entrance and comprises a pretty kitche
n with washing machine, fridge, 2 ring hob, and a Miehle oven/grill/microwave. This gives way to a comfortable sitting room equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and electric fire, with views over the garden. The double bedroom with small double bed also overlooks the garden. Bedlinen, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also provided. The contemporary bathroom with Travertine tiling has a shower and roll-top free standing bath. Residents are welcome to share our south facing garden with our friendly little dog Toby. Private parking is available for one medium size car on the drive adjacent to the property. Parking is also available for larger vehicles across the road in the village car park, which is on a first come first served basis.Mill Leat is non-smoking. The local bus service stops hourly at the top of the drive for Penzance and St Ives, which is extremely useful in summer when parking in St Ives is especially at a premium. There is no shop in Nancledra, but there are 2 farm shops nearby, and the nearest supermarket is in Carbis Bay, approximately 10 minutes drive away. Excellent food and drink are available half a mile up the road at The Engine Inn, which has live entertainment 2 or 3 times a week.
