An other talented puppy! This time it’s Fred a 15 week collie who also loves the ball but this time he also demonstrates a fantastic wait with his young owner Josh, Fred resists the temptation of the ball and stays perfectly in place. 😄🐕

This amazing pup is Buddie a 12 week old French Bull dog, he came in for his second week puppy training session and when we gave him a moment to chill out, he amazed us with his football skills 😄🐕

If you haven't yet qualified for the National Finals (you only need two qualifying runs) you can still enter & hope to qualify before the Finals Weekend - even if you don't qualify you can still run NFC and try for a 'Q' rosette so what have you got to lose?

Hoopers is a great activity which is fantastic for all ages of dogs, from the young juvenile to the older veterans, this is because it’s smoother than agility and less impacting on the joints. It’s also good for people who can’t run with their dogs (as in agility) so it’s a great activity for people with disabilities enabling owners to achieve a strong bond with their dogs and have fun. Vale Dog Training Centre is excited to announce two new fun activities to enjoy with your dog. Scent training and Hoopers.

We're running two introduction workshops: limited spaces so contact ASAP.
Scentwork February 13th 10.30 - 12.30 £25 per dog
Hoopers February 20th 10.30 - 12.30 £25 per dog

We will put on Thursday evening sessions if there is a demand so please let us know if you would like evenings.

Scentwork is a fun and very rewarding activity for both you and your dog and will enhance the relationship between you and your dog. It is suitable for all breeds, ages (including puppies) and dogs with injuries or disabilities. We ensure a safe environment for all dogs, so if your dog is reactive, nervous or a little shy we will ensure that they are safe and happy in a stress free environment. You can participate whether it is just for fun or go on and enter trials and gain qualifications with you own search dog.

Hoopers is a low-impact sport suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. Many retired agility dogs are having lots of fun doing Hoopers. Unlike agility, Hoopers has no jumps. Instead, ground-level hoops are used for the dog to run through, together with tunnels and barrels. It has the same pace and excitement as agility, but the courses are flowing with no tight turns. Handlers can choose to run with their dogs, or work towards distance handling - thus making it a fantastic sport for handlers with reduced mobility. And both the young and older dogs.
Both our Instructors compete in their respective disciplines and are UK judges for their sports, so if you want to compete or just have fun both instructors can help you on your Scent and Hoopers journey.
