It looks like this weekend's going to be a scorcher so don't forget to keep those doggies cool, Hendricks is able to enjoy the sunshine with his Cool Coat on but remember to avoid walking in the heat of the day (11am-4pm) and make sure you always have drinking water available.
Our smallest patient of the week, Salad the hamster. She had a nasty break to one of her back legs, we amputated the leg and this is her after the surgery, you'd hardly know she had anything done!
Why you shouldn't throw sticks
Charlie had life-saving surgery last week after falling on to a stick. It perforated his oesophagus and went through into his neck. He had major surgery to decontaminate and repair the area. The whole team worked really hard to get him through and he is now doing really well. This is him enjoying a bit of sausage after his operation. We all fell in love with him and are so glad he is feeling better.
