Important information below 🐾🐾

With temperatures on the rise (possibly for longer than a few days 🤞🏻🙈), please follow these simple steps to ensure your doggo is in the best condition for their groom:

🐾 please do not walk your doggo to your grooming appointment or exercise them vigorously beforehand (toilet stops only please!). When the temperatures are warmer, dogs need to be as cool as possible before they come in to the salon

🐾 I have the doors and windows open but the salon does heat up during the afternoon. I have a room thermometer to gauge the temperature and humidity and if this gets to excessive highs, I will cut your appointment short or reschedule. Your dogs welfare is the most important thing to me, not a perfect groom that risks their health

🐾 cooler bath water temperatures are being used, the dryers are on cool settings and there is a steady supply of fresh water in the salon available for all doggos

🐾 some dogs may leave with damp ears or tails as the dryer may raise the temperature in the salon too much for a safe groom. They will dry quickly once they are home so don’t worry!

🐾 please do not walk them home after collection - collection by car is preferred for a safe and cool trip home

🐾 also remember that the pavements are hot on your doggos feet so keep walks to early mornings when possible and keep them cool with plenty water (to drink and to play in!) and in shaded areas when outside
