Happy International Chocolate Day! 🍫

While we humans can indulge in chocolatey treats, it’s important to remember that chocolate is TOXIC to our furry friends.

Keep an eye out for symptoms of chocolate poisoning in pets, such as vomiting, diarrhoea, rapid breathing and increased heart rate. If your pet shows any of these signs, contact your vet immediately.

If your dog ingests chocolate, keep the wrapper and estimate the amount consumed to help your vet provide the best care.

It’s the last one of the year. Come and along and meet over 30 fabulous businesses, grab some great food and chill in our vegan cafe hosted by marwicksvegankitchen. Plus bluepalm.coffee will be popping up at the market entrance.

We are also dog friendly.

It's nearly BIG BREAKFAST time!!! 🥐☕🫖

We are all ready for the STV Appeal Big Scottish Breakfast at the salon tomorrow morning 😀

From ⌚ 7am to 10am ⌚ we will have coffee, tea, hot chocolate (with marshmallows!!!), pastries, croissants, fruit and other tasty goodies for humans! PLUS, some tasty noms for the doglets 🐶🐾

We have already had a couple of very generous donations handed in and also a homemade cake - yum.

All donations will go to the STV Children's Appeal which helps support projects that provide free breakfast for kids and young people across Scotland. ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Breakfast is important - I certainly know how much of a nightmare I am before my coffee in the morning!! So, in order to raise money for the STV Appeal We are taking part in

This STV Children's appeal runs from 9th to 13th Sept and is to raise money to help kids all over Scotland have access to breakfast and help set them up for the best start to their day!
We will be holding a breakfast buffet outside the salon on the morning of WEDNESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER between 7am and 10am
Iin return for a donation, you can have first, second or even third breakfast with us. There will be tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal bars etc on offer - yum!!
(We are always open to some home baked goods if anyone wants to donate !!!!)
So, if you are passing on your way to work, dropping your dog at daycare or just want to show your support, we would love to see you ❤️🐾❤️

Everyone meet Dudley ❤️

This absolutely delicious wee boy came in today for his first groom 🥰

He is 5 months old and being trained as an assistance dog - such a clever boy! 🎓

Getting the larger breeds introduced to being groomed when they are young makes it so much easier for them and for their groomer.

And just because he is a short haired breed doesn't mean he doesn't need regular skin and coat care. Dog grooming is not just for dogs who need their coats clipped!
