Just a wee reminder about my Christmas holidays ...
My last day of work is Thursday 21 December and I'll be back from Monday 8 January

FIREWORKS WEEKEND
Please please keep your dogs on the leads especially this weekend when random fireworks will go off left, right and centre, even if your dog has solid recall please be mindful.
If you have a nervous rescue dog, I would advise to also put a lead on and accompany them into the garden for toilet breaks etc
It is one of the busiest time of the year for us lost dog search groups hopefully you don't need us but we are all here if you do.

There are many many more groups all over the country who all volunteer their time in the hopes of helping to reunite your lost pets. If your area is not mentioned above please familiarise yourself with your local lost dog team, in the hope you never need them, but you know who to turn to if you ever do. Lost dog teams are a valuable part of the local communities helping distraught owners and providing not only emptional support, but ground teams, experience, invaluable equipment to aid their searches.
It is also worth noting down your local dog wardens number who for some areas are always the first point of call if a dog is found.
Consider bringing in rabbits and other small animals inside during this period too.
Lastly please make sure your pets microchip details are upto date! Not only is this a legal requirement but this is what makes the difference in reuniting your Missing Pets to you quickly to help avoid any further stress on your animal if they are missing and have been found.

***UPDATE, DOG HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE DUMPED AT SIDE OF ROAD***
This evening at 7:10PM a grey Mitsubishi pick up was stolen from Broadwell Farm, Abernethy, Perthshire. The farm is located on the side of the A913.
When the pick up was stolen, a 8 year old fox red lab was inside. She is microchipped and spayed. Her microchip is being flagged as stolen.
The police are involved.
The pick up was last seen heading on the back road to Dundee via Errol.
All the family want is their dog back home safe.
Please do the right thing and drop her off at a safe location so she can get back home to her family.
If you were in the area at the time can you please check your dash cam footage Incase you have recorded anything.
Please share far and wide!

We can confirm she has been found safe dumped at the side of the road in Errol!
The pick up is still stolen.

I have lost a pink rope dog lead down the grass River path between Jeanfield Park and entrance to Woody Island. No value except sentimental. If anyone finds it, could you please let me know. Many thanks x
It has been found
Was surprised to see such high temperatures forecast from tomorrow and over the next few days, apparently 29 degrees on Friday 😯 which I am hoping is a system glitch and not actually true 🙈😆 !! Quite strange for this time of year 😎 considering the summer wasn't too bad heatwise. Obviously I will keep a close eye on this due to safety for both the dogs and myself 🫠 and will be in touch in case anything needs to change regarding walks 🐶🐾

It’s been a week since she has been missing from Bertha Loch in Perth.
No stone has been left unturned in her search but it’s possible she has wandered further from the missing point.
If your out walking your dog this weekend or looking for something to do it would be appreciated if folk to spare some time and look around Bertha Park, Bertha Lock, Alomndbank, Pitcairngreen and the River Almond area for Rosie.
Rosie’s dad and the rest of her family just desperately want Rosie home safe 😢❤️🐾
This lovely girl is still missing from Bertha Loch in the Bertha Park area of Perth.
Teams have been out searching along with thermal imaging scopes and a thermal imaging drone but sadly so far no sign. Leaving scented items has been done too.
The team along with kind local residents will continue ground searching.

Has anyone seen this doggy around the Bertha Park area of Perth!?
She went missing last night from Bertha Park Loch. She doesn’t know the area very well. She is chipped and wearing a collar and ID tag. The contact numbers may not be up to date though.

We cannot quite believe yet but Rosie the lab who has been missing for 2 WEEKS with not a single sighting has been found safe this morning after wandering into Bertha Parks local takeaway 😆😍

As well as being a busy week ahead 🐶🐾 it seems there are roadworks and road closures everywhere I turn 🙈😫. Whilst I always try and give myself extra time, there is so much work going on at the moment, it is inevitable to cause delays , which I will obviously try and minimise as best I can x
Just a little reminder that I'll be off on Friday 4th August , just to avoid any issues with getting about as lots of the roads I need to go on will be closed at different points during the day. Thanks for everyone I've already spoken to about this for being so understanding x

The wee border terrier from Auchterarder, Perthshire is still sadly missing. We are not giving up with her search.

***MISSING BORDER TERRIER AUCHTERARDER UPDATE***
Morning everyone ❤️
Sadly there is still no news on the young border terrier missing from the Auchterarder area of Perthshire.
We have had thermal drones out, thermal scopes, countless volunteers on foot and even a volunteer with their search dog from Search Dogs For Lost Dogs Scotland.
The area she went missing has been searched intensively.
When she went missing she was wearing her red harness. Last night it was found on the side of the A9 torn off at the waist area.
Volunteers searched up and down the A9 for miles but could not find her.
She has maybe been able to break free and the search area needs to be widened.
We would ask everyone around the Auchterarder area and further afield to keep a very close look out.
We would appreciate if people especially keeping eyes and ears open along the path beside the burn from Abbey Road to the fish-ladder at Ruthven Street.

😡😡😡😡😡 works van with contents of tools stolen from north Muirton area of Perth between 8PM and 2AM this morning. van has grey and yellow company logo sign writing all over. 😡😡😡😡😡

These will possibly cause me a bit of a delay for pick ups for Thursday and Friday lunchtime walks 🚦as I will be in that area and will need to take a wee detour lol 🫣. I do always try and give extra time to allow for roadworks but at the moment they seem to be everywhere 🙈🤣

First day back at work and my van decided it didn't want to play causing something random to happen with my handbrake 🙈🙃 so had to pop it into the garage. Thanks to everyone for being so understanding, and apologies once again. Thankfully have use of our truck if needs be but hoping to get the van back later today ###

Who starts a business on Christmas Eve 🤪🤣?! Obviously not such a bad idea as over the past 4 years, I've been kept very busy walking lots of fantastic dogs. I am very lucky I get to do what I do and never take it for granted so thankyou to everyone that helps me do that 🐶🐾
Well, that's me now on holiday and I'll be back walking on Monday 9th January. Although this page has been quiet with updates recently, I have been as busy as ever, which as always is a good thing 😊. It hasn't been the best of years for me personally as you all know and I have really appreciated everyone's kindness, it really has helped get me through. For the next couple of weeks, I am looking forward to putting my feet up as much as I can and can't wait to see you all when I am nice and refreshed in the New Year. Christmas wishes to you all 🎄🎁🐶🐾

I have headed out on the roads but turned back as they are really treacherous 🫣 . Hopefully be back to normal for next week, my last week till Christmas hols 🎅🎄 xx
It's not long started snowing here ☃️ and I think it is meant to be on for a bit, so will obviously be keeping an eye on the situation as the day goes on and will take the weather and driving conditions into account with walks as always 🐶🐾
