I would like to find a home for two of my mature girls, Moffat and her daughter Charm. Moffat is black & white heterozygous and Charm is a seal tortie straighthair. Both are spayed. Charm dotes on her mother so they need to go together. They are indoor cats so they need to be kept inside or have access only to a catio or cat-secure garden. A small rehoming fee to cover costs. As I am winding down breeding & showing my Selkirk Rex this year, I would like to find homes for some of my adult cats so they can get more individual attention. They will be neutered before leaving me. A couple will be happy in a single-cat household, a few others will be happier going as pairs. A rehoming fee will apply.
If you think you have a preference for an adult cat rather than a kitten, please do not hesitate to message me to discuss which cats are available. All my Selkirk Rex are longhaired so will need grooming and are only available to indoor homes or homes with a secure garden.
A couple of weekends ago, Quizzicurl welcomed this young lady to the household. Her pet name is Dina, her registered name is NO*Chibinichi Danse du Feu. A huge thank you to May for allowing Dina to make the move from Norway to Scotland, she gives me some new lines but her great grandsire is Lucan (FIFe Supreme Champion Quizzicurl Sir Lucan).
Thank you to May & Frida who made the arduous journey from Vatne to Leamington Spa for a show and then to Ann, Dorothy & Bruce for relaying her up the country when circumstances prevented me from travelling. Obviously, life in Scotland suits Dina as she came into call, one week after arriving! She's a very un-tortie-like girl in her temperament. As I am winding down from showing & breeding cats, she will be my last import to help the lines in the UK, and kittens from this year and next will probably be the last available.

Quizzicurl Neptune is a blue male longhaired kitten who will be available soon, he will be fully vaccinated, GCCF registered and microchipped. His sire is Ch. Quizzicurl Creme Brulee and his dam is the imported female Lilac Blossom Gorgeous Waves.

Piglet (Quizzicurl Grimalkin) was rehomed to Lorraine & Jason back in Spring 2021 and look how well he looks. His sister Jazmine was rehomed with him.

This is why you should always buy GCCF registered kittens. All breeding Selkirk Rex in the UK registered with GCCF have to be PKD tested or genetically clear.

Truffle (Quizzicurl Truffle).
Sometimes when you least expect it, a brilliant home will come along and this happened for Piglet & Batgirl (Now renamed Jazmine) who were bred by me over 4 years ago. I put up their details on the Selkirk Rex UK kitten page and almost immediately I had a lovely message from Lorraine offering them both a home with her family. So, they packed up their kitty bags, traveled south to England and as you can see from the photos have landed well & truly on their feet.
This is Quizzicurl Jolly Jack Tar (The old English name for a sailor) who is a cream & white straighthair Selkirk Rex male. He is good decent sized boy with lovely bone and a very dense longish coat. He is looking for a loving permanent home. He is GCCF registered, vaccinated & microchipped and will be going to get neutered very soon. He is 8 months old.
I would like an indoor home or home with a cat secure garden with another cat, he is quite playful and does like a good romp. He hasn't been used to dogs or young children. If you think you would be genuinely interested in offering him a home please message me through the page, thanks.
Then here comes the class clown......Truffle (Quizzicurl Truffle). He was originally supposed to go to Newcastle then lockdown came in, I never heard from his intended home again! So he was re-advertised and was supposed to go and live in Denmark as a show/stud boy. After getting his rabies vaccination and a courier booked, his intended owner pulled out of the sale! (Much gnashing of teeth with me.....). Then he found another intended home fairly quickly so plans were made to meet partway with him.....except his new owner thought it was ok to turn up over 2 hours late for him so he came back home with me after over 12 hours being driven in & out of England.
Thankfully, it was 4th time lucky for Truffle and he now has a fantabulous home with Sarah & Dave and their two other Selkirk Rex, Lois and Herbert who are actually his full cousins.
Quizzicurl Puffball 'Whiskey' was the only straighthair in the litter and he was a big chunky kitten. He ended up travelling to Devon to live with Bronwen and her husband Paul, Whiskey has a very laid back temperament and has already had a weekend away with Bronwen & Paul.
Quizzicurl Grisette, the only female, ended up taking a rather long pet courier journey from Scotland to Switzerland to live with Sabine and her husband. Eventually, when FIFe shows begin again, Grisette will be shown but she has Sabine's husband now firmly wrapped around her little paw.
A very overdue catch up for this page.
Etta's kittens from last October all finally flew the nest - after another Covid lockdown came into force just before they were due to leave. I will make individual posts on each kitten and where their new homes are.
Firstly, this is Spyder (Quizzcurl Candlesnuff) who is living in Scotland with Dorothy & Bruce and their growing family of cats and 3 dogs. If/when shows return, Spyder will be out being a show cat. He has however been out and about as a hospice visiting cat as he has such a charming temperament.
