All of our team are animal lovers, many with extensive menageries of animals they look after. You can be sure that we'll provide the same level of care for your animal, as we would want for our own. We moved to new purpose build premises in 2001, to provide the very best veterinary service; with a central location, easy access, plenty of parking, reception space, treatment rooms and a dedicated eq

uine centre. Our vet centre offers a comfortable waiting area (with a dedicated small animals waiting area), an on-site dispensary and laboratory (which means that we can provide a faster diagnosis). We also have an isolation ward, and diagnostic and surgical suite, to offer your animals the very best care available.

Our vet, Jonathan Parkyn is doing a charity race - Race Around Scotland the weekend of the 19th to 21st September. It will be on the style of the BBC Race Around the World using only public transport to get to 6 checkpoints using the lowest budget possible. They are raising funds for the Madoch community transport service which provides transport to hospital and other essential medical appointments to people of St Madoes and the surrounding area. Any funds raised will be matched by Tay Valley Vets (Vetpartners). Should you wish to support & donate, please follow the link, it takes you to the donations page of the Madoch centre (SC01494) we are the last tab under RAS Pat and Jon. Thank you!

🐰 Hop to It – Time for a Dental Check🐰

Rabbits have teeth that grow continuously throughout their lives, making them prone to dental issues such as overgrown molars and sharp spurs.

These problems often develop silently but can affect appetite, digestion, and quality of life.

Regular dental check-ups are essential for early detection and keeping your rabbit comfortable and well. Why not give reception a call today and book in for a check ☎️

We have had a cat handed into us this morning who sadly has passed away prior to arriving.
He is a large, neutered white and tabby cat with no collar and no chip.
He was found on Dunkeld Road near ASDA.
If you think this could be your cat, please give reception a call on 01738 621415.

Please note that our system is still down, which is causing a delay in our prescriptions being dispensed. All non urgent medications, such as flee tick and worming should be ready to collect early next week. Thank you for your patience.

✨✨Well done to our wonderful Veterinary Care Assistant Lindsay ✨✨

Lindsay has been nominated for practice support staff of the year.

Lindsay worked extremely hard to gain her Veterinary Care Assistant qualification last year, so a nomination is very well deserved and we are all very proud of her.

Lindsay plays a massive part in the smooth running of the practice and is often seen in our hydrotherapy pool 💦

🐶Don't Brush It Off – Get a Dental Check🐶

Did you know that most dogs show visible signs of dental disease by age three?

🦷Left untreated, this can progress to periodontal disease which has been associated with diseases of other organs such as the kidney and heart.

🦷Routine dental examinations allow us to spot problems early and help keep your dog healthy, happy, and pain-free.

🐶If you are concerned about your dogs teeth and would like to get them checked over, book in today with one of our nurses!

We are experiencing some technical issues with our system today. At the moment, we are unable to take any payments or put medication onto records. The phone lines are working, so appointments can still be made.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this will cause and will update when the system is back to normal.
